Knight Lore will be the title of my Medieval Stories when my mediaval set up is complete. I am sure nowhere near the quality and standards than Vauban has set with his stories but i will try my best . Being away from my Den and collection has allowed me time to write notes on the script of the story that will be running for at least 12 months with photos etc and will probably finish with an epic battle at the end ( thats the idea ...) , the key characters wont be just King Iseroth , Sir Agnar and his son but characters from the dragonland kingdoms, yellow dragons , magic , merry men and some townfolk, i will be running a main story along with a couple other in parallel i think, i am working on the main story ,characters and names now, mostly derived from Viking's name database and Dungeons and Dragons. This story will have no relevance to the map as i have my own yellow dragons etc and it will be set in a different universe still with Krull as the Empire of the LAnd and various other smaller kingdoms . it will run for at least a year and unless i have to use the den for something else ( which i doubt as i will have my playmo den number 2 in athens ready in sep) it might run even for longer as i dont think i will find easily the courage to dismantle my set up
I chose that name as a homage to one of the greatest computer pioneering games of all time and since in my story there will be a quest for finding ingredients for a magic potion , a brave knight , his love, a princess , an evil wizard ..... and lots of armies and dragons.... I estimate that my story will commence in late June so I ask for your patience as i continue with my preparations.....and King Iseroth will be a wise, fair , just and peace loving Emperor respected and loved by all but with many dragon kingdoms as enemies ...... For the time being i shall present you with the cover of this tale....

Thnak you for your encouragement. After our playtmo meeting yesterday and some crazy playmo purchasing at the funpark and on ebay i wrote some more note on the story . Hopefully my set up will be complete in June and i willstart the photo- story

Much progress has been made but pictures will be shown when all complete now, i will try my best and make something worthy of my mediaval collection in terms of a collection of stories in the world of Krull .....

I have two versions of this game in cassete for amstrad and zx spectrum MIB , ( i have about 300 cassete retro games MIB) and i keep these as they remind me of my youth :-[
BTW , there will be something of this poster/picture in my photostory !!! ;)

I am pleased to inform you that my mediaval set up is 75% complete now, much progress has been achieved , however no pictures wil be shown til everything is ready and a series of photostories wil be presented under the title Knight Lore, each photostory will be a chapter and i plan to have no less that 12 chapters in the Knight Lore epic, one of which will be a jousting tournament i hope!!! As i am lucky to have a new playmoden from september in athens , i shall keep my mediaval set up , set for no less than a full years once its complete ( mid july) and i might even extend this to finish my stories . In - not the final- a chapter there will be a massive battle between Emperor Iseroth and the Empire ( in my world, Krull is an empire ) and the combined forces of the dragon kingdoms and the vikings...also in anotehr story there wil be a full scale attack of dragons to the city of krull, another story will be a massive attack from the empire to the Big Forrest . I think i ahve said enough , i have written about 16 pages for the 12 stories , each will link to one another and follow a timeline. There are some very high standards in this forum ( such as the work by Vauban ) , all i can say i will endeavor to do my best ( i will use a professional camera for these stories etc ) and that there will be a lot of klickies in my stories that i will try and make them the best i can . All these stories will take place in the fantastic world of Krull and will have no association to the rest of the mediaval map , as in these stories, Krull is a planet , ruled by an emperor and has various kingdoms in it some loyal some enemy to Emperor Iseroth. What will be shown next will be my first photostory which is a lighthearted one in the city of krull , will be posted complete mid July i estimate. Lighthearted doesnt mean of course that there will no violence and death , both elements will have a strong presence in Krull's tales !!!!!! :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight:

Thanks Sir Karim your feedback is much appreciated . i always thought that this cover looks amazing and i am still fascinated by it. I spent 9 hours non stop at my master playmo den today , have made singificant progress and shall continue eeerrr today ( its already sunday ...) hopefully it wont be long till you see my entire mediaval collection set an the first photostory/ chapterr in Knight Lore........

BY all means sent me the info WOT, in my story, Krull is a planet and there are various kingdoms some under the rule of the Emperor and some not. The Imperial troop i called the royal guard and they take direct orders from the emperor only. i have about 120 of them and they are the ( what else ) Nuremberg guard . however perhaps i can create a small detachment of different troop etc , please sent me the details .
i cant wait to start my photostories, but these have to wait till i complete my set up, hopefully i will finish the city this weekend and start the forest set up, i still have to set another 40% of my mediaval collection !!!! still lots to do but will get there and will start the stories in Knight Lore . thats a total of 12-16 month project !!!!

Knight Lore - Chapter One
' ..tells of how a welcomed Royal visit from King Kellanved of Ceragem lead to an unwelcomed sneak attack '
Pictures will follow in the follwoing days as this photostory will be carried out along with Wolf Knight when he visits my den next. I couldnt resit not to write the intro though , this will constitute the first of 12 chapters of the Knight Lore Chronicles . So here it all begins ...
The latest addition in the army of Krull: Black Lion Forrest Border Guard Division , young and yet to prove himself in real battle will make his first apperance , his name is Arfast, son of the glorius viking warlord Armod ( that vanished in the northern seas fighting a sea monster and tales exist of him being captured by an evil magic lord and being still alive) was raised near the city of Krull and then moved in to the City . As his mother died when he was 7 he was taken under the protection of the Royal Guard and spent his youth in the barracks, doing all shorts of errants but also enjoying daily training with fine swordsmen. Keeping a low profile and rather shy, Arfast is an exceptional swordman and rider , he is also in love with a lady of the court , a young maiden named Sonja who is of viking background and spent most of her time at court, Arfast - poor chap- nearly collapsed when he saw her for the first time and she is contstantly in his mind but he dares not to speak to her yet... Arfast has applied and passed the tests to join in the most dangerous of corps , the Forest Border Guard. Arfast joined them only a few days before King Kellanved's second royal visit and so - without further ado - ladies and gentlemen our first chapter begins....... :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight:

Their proclaimed King Ungar has called for a war council and declared his decision to provoke WAR with King Iseroth. ' Long we have waited in peace, now its time for the dtragon alliance to take what is rightfully theirs , the world of Krull belong to us ' he said . I command you arrange under my trusted Red Dragon general , Baron Fheirgond a surpise attack to Krull during the time when Iseroth's ally the King of Ceragen is there . Sent message to our spies to inform us when he will be there and then tell Baron Fheirgond to launch a surprise attack to their weak forrest garrison and kill as many as possible....

The message went to the Baron who was busy training his troop and was excused from the WAR council , some rumors exist that Ungar and Fheirgond communcate with magic , supported by the witches of the Dragon alliance... Baron was pleased and not surprised. ' prepare the foot soldiers and the archers , sent a message to our city spies and get ready ' he shouted at his troop ....

Early in the day the guard of the forest garrison couldnt believe in his eyes, the champion of champions, Lord Etir Sayest has arrived at Krull with his herald, invited by General Sir Agnar but also with a letter from the emperor of Krull asking him for a meeting ... So Lord Etyr following a rather non adventurous passage of Krull forrest arrived at the city of Krull....

Shortly after his arrival the forest guard general Arimathias welcomed him in a rather more formal and polite manner that then guard previously. Hail champion of champion he said, and welcome to the magnificent city of light , Krull , may you have pleasant stay here sire !!! Thanks , was Lord Etir's reply

Then Etir and his companion followed General Arimathias to the twin gates of krull, General Arimathias was telling Lord Etir about the legends surrounding the stones used to build Krulls' walls and their mystic powers .... Lord Etir was very interested to hear this stories and couldnt wait to see the big and buzzing city of Krull, known for its wealth, various stores and goods and of course beatifull women ....

As Lord Etyr approached the opened left gate ( Gate of Valor ) , General Sir Agnar in his impeccable Shiny armor ( that was polished twice as much on that day ..) was there to welcome him and take him to the castle .. general Arimathias ocne again welcomed Lord Etir and headed back to his post...

BUT as Lord Etyr was going through the gates of wisdom , he was ambushed by female fans who have heard that the champion of champions was cpming to krull , they were all around Lord Etyr , flirting etc with him and Lord Etir didnt seem to mind at all the presence of all these beatiful Krull Women.. For a moment General Sir Agnar was about to take out his sword but didnt ... isneatd he waited patiently until all the women have talked to Lord Etir , passed him some notes etc .... Lord Etir is already very popular in the city of krull !!!!

General Sir Agnar took Lord Etir through the city of krull , while Etir's companion was taken via a different route to his quarters,. Lord Etir was surprised how big and prosperus and busy the market of Krull was and was asking General Agnar questions that Agnar was more than happy to answer. One could say these Knights were friends and had a lot of respect of each other, after all they were the no1 and no2 jousting knights .... the very best ...

They then entered the barracks, where a big part of Krulls army was in formation as a mark of respect to Lord Etir. Jousting is a way of Life in krull, inside the barracks there were over 100 horses knights and as Lord Etir passed by they all shouted ' Hail Lord Etir Sayest , Champion of Champions, we salute you '
As Lord Etir advanced through the pikemen and archers he was surprised by the size of the army of Krull. ' We are indeed preparing for War against the dragons alliance my dear friend ' General Agnar told him... The emperor has gathered a great army to ensure victory but as he will tell you himself he wants your help ...' Lord Etir and Agnar advanced through the crowded barracks

Just before entering the royal quarters , Lord Etir was greeded by the elite of krulls' army commanders, battle hardened they all welcomed Lord Etir to Krull and wished him a pleasant stay...

Upon arrival to the Royal quarters Lord Etir was taken to meet the Queen Of Krull , Lord Etir was taken back by her beauty and royalty and manners but also kept looking at a young court Lady, Lady Allia who also welcomed him and wished him a pleasant stay.

General Agnar showed then Lord Etyr the banquet preparations for him , took him to the dining room and Lord Etir was shocked by the quantity of silver in the room , it was so shiny everywhere, something he commented to Agnar who replied ' The Queen is very specific about the polishing of all silver in the quarters' ....

General Agnar took Lord Etir through the Royal chambers where Lord Etir noticed the so many crowns on display... there were lots of them ...
' All conquered by the empire of Krull ' general Agnar said with a clear sense of pride ... Lord Etir knew that the emperor he was about to meet was a warrior also and he and he predecessors were responsible for many wars and battles .... with those thought he arrived at the gates of the throne room.

The guards talked to General Sir Agnar first and then asked Lord Etir to wait for a few minutes. But that was only a few moments as seconds later Lord Etir entered to meet The Emperor of Krull, Iseroth

As Lord Etir entered the throne room, Emperor Iseroth , known to ignore protocol left his throne and approached Etir and greeded him very warmly... ' welcome champion he said ...' and Lord Etir felt that the whole of Krull was very welcoming...

Emperor Iseroth spoke briefly to Lord Etir and told him that he is grateful that he has agreed to Agnar's invitation to visit krull and train Krull knights in some of his techniques that he used in jousting. He told him that they will meet again and then Agnar and Etir left the throne room. Lord Etir couldnt help but to look again at all those crowns of conquered kingdoms...

General Agnar took Lord Etir for a quick pint of the famous Krull Ale , Lord Etir was more than happy with that Ale to say the least after all this journey !!!

Lord Etir then was taken to his quarters and Agnar left him to rest as he would come later to take Lord Etir to the banquet that was to be held for his arrival.. As for the visits, yuo might have noticed i have already created some short stories of visits of otehr playmofriends ( one with Sir Wolf also ) and will continue to do so ( with King of Melnibone, Another visit by Ceragem's King etc ) BUT i promise you rather that repeating these stories, they will be far more exciting next time !!!! next time there will be a battle and siege etc etc , Krull and its Knight Lore tales will not , i repaer will not be stories to tell kids to go to sleep but rather stories full of war and violence and dragons and magic and swords and knights etc etc :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight:
