				Hi everyone!!!
WOWZEEEERSSS-Its GREAT to be here!!!!
My name is Issy and I live in the Cotswolds (South West) of the UK.
I'm 31 and a busy wife and stay at home mum to three littlies. 8}
I had quite a bit of Playmobil when I was younger and all my parents friends seemed to have a box of it mixed with Lego and Mecano (sp) when we went to visit:))
Growing up however the Playmobil went and in came Barbie.Somehow though I never seemed to lose the love I had for those chirpy,chipper looking faces :D
Anyway being at home full-time can be challenging when it comes to 'me' time but I find the best way to solve it is to have a big table set up with Playmobil-ready to play whenever I feel the urge (several times a day :o)
The little people never fail to want to get involved.Great for their imaginations and equally as good for my peace of mind;)
So our table contains a big 'system x' mix of of a house,a hospital and a police station.
We also have a caravan,a rescue helicopter and pad and an ambulance.Our collection is all helped along by lots of figures and their bits and bobs.
I would love to get into photographing my playmo peeps and have been GLUED to the storylines on this Forum!!!
Its not helping my bank balance though-I suddenly find myself NEEEEDING a whole swat team with csi's,and plenty of baddies lol!!!
I always have a wanted list to tick off so Ill be off to the trading board to add a few iso's ;)
Ok well enough of me,great to be here and I cant wait to make some playmo connections;)))
Best wishes
Issyx

Hi Issyx,
Thank you very much for your intro. You will have a lot of fun here. I do the exact same thing with my son, 3 years old. Right now we have the vacation home and a pool with a slide on the table and we play with it lost throughout the day. I look forward to getting to know you.  :wave:

				Thanks all for the wonderful greetings:)))))
I can see my playmo journey calling me to get a little part-time job lol!!
Hadoque-Im a extremely happy hooker as I cant go through a day without picking up my knitting needles or crochet hook and making myself a little 'woolly' something!
I try my very best to only engage in hobbies that are like free therapy-Playmo and knitting/crochet definitely fits the bill;)
Watch out Playmo peeps-curtains,rugs,clothes and blankies could be coming your way soon! :-\

A crochet hook...it's been a long long time I've seen overhere someone (my grandmother and her sister f.e.) using that. The younger generations don't do crochet hooking anymore - even knitting is almost extinct.
If you'd ever come to Belgium, you should visit Bruges, where you can still see the traditional artwork & (work)shops.

Hello and welcome from Paris, France, Issy!
Like BadMum here, I was a little puzzled by your nickname.  8}
I told myself "you're French, English is not your mother tongue, there has to be another meaning to this word..."
Now I understand the reference to the hook/crochet!  :lol:
Cheers,
Arnaud

This now begs the question, did you understand my reference to rugby? (Which was supposed to be funny).  At least you are from a rugby-loving nation  :)  The hooker is one of the forward positions, and at a guess I would say it's "le talonneur" in French? Number 2 or Number 3 - not everyone seems to number their players in the same way  :(

			-
				I get it now!  Being from the US, the rugby reference went right over my head :)

				 :welcome: to the Playmofriends forum from South Carolina USA, Issy! We hope to see your participation on here as much as time will allow!

Alison, while reading it I thought it might be something like that. But I'm not a sports' fan, so I generally miss this kind of jokes. Rugby: is that the race with rowboats or the one with bicycles?  :lol:

				Welcome Issy from London.  I have only been here a couple of weeks myself.  I find spinning the merry-go-round very relaxing for me time, usually after a hard day's work when they are all in bed.
