Oh, ok. Very good to hear. So where and when will they be available? ('cause they are not listed in the official news for 2006)

And does this mean the St. Martin figure is real as well?

(P.S. I know I am showing my ignorance, but what does ADAC stand for?)

I don't know what ADAC means, but it's the German equivalent of the AA (Automobile Association) or RAC in the UK and the AAA in the USA - a road rescue organisation.

ADAC = Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil Club (Allgemein = common; Deutscher = German; Automobil = automobile/automotive; Club = club ;D)

Thanks, Jochen.  The English translation suddenly came to me when I was showering - Automobile Club of Germany.

Thanks Gordon and Jochen! It is very interesting - here in the US, as Gordon says we have AAA (American Automobile Association), but they do not have their own response vehicles. They contract with local towing companies to provide roadside assistance.

The ADAC has not only its own vehicles but as well some helicopters for rescue and transporting back to Germany, it is offering some insurances and cooperates with local towing companies in countries outside Germany so that they also have international support. It seems that it is a quite large organisation (at least for German scales ;))
