It looks like it would be part of the 1993/1994 lineup.

I don't remember seeing that here in a catalogue.

Could it be a factory/company promo photo instead of a catalogue one?

Maybe it is part of a poster which came in a castle/knights set? They often used to put things like that in the larger sets.

The fact that there's no type on it at all could also support that idea. :)

But were the posters ever square? All the ones I have are rectangles, and what is with that blue line off center ?

I thought the blue line down the middle could be the central fold line and that some of the image might be cropped off on the right side. That would then make it like an A3 image which folds in half to A4 size. :)

It's not from a UK catalogue, I have just checked mine.

It does look like pages 10 and 11 from a standard A4 catalogue, and looking at the sets featured around 1993/94.

if you look closlely bottom left you can just see what looks like the tops of the numbers 1 & 0.

Page 11 (if it is 11) might have had images of the individual sets shown down the side of the image which have probably been cropped off, that would make the centre line appear off centre.

Hope you get an answer from the website soon.

If you go to the website that's watermarked on the picture it is from this page:

http://retromotoca.wordpress.com/page/8/ (http://retromotoca.wordpress.com/page/8/)

The caption above states:

Playmobil, Estrela. Estas cenas foram tiradas do catálogo de 1995, apenas um ano antes da Estrela encerrar a comercialização dos bonecos por aqui. Temos os temas Espaço, Piratas, Circo, Medieval, Salvamento e Competição.

Looking at the website blog sure brought back lots of memories of toys and things from the early 1980s.  Looking at the fashions though, it's like the 70's.  What were these people thinking?!  (or not thinking!!!)
