I'm in Munich for vacations this week.I'm trying to find a way to visit the Playmobil Fun Park in Zirndorf.I'm not joking but this activity lacks from every tourist guide for Bavaria and Munich.None in the tourist information Knows about the Fun Park and the most of them are trying to find if Zirndorf is in Bavaria. We are four adults and two children and we can not find a way to visit by car,bus or train. The costs are very high.We have to pay almost a fortune to rent a car.I have manage to discover that the there is a family ticket to visit Nuremburg at low cost by train (it a secret no-one will tell you about this ticket unless you ask for it.The cost is 30 euros for 5 adults for a day in every place in Bavaria with return.Normaly it will be around 50 to 60 euros per adult(89$ in the internet) but it very unclear how i can reach Playmo funpark from there.I do not Know why but Geobra looks like it does not want visitors or the germans do not like Playmos their product!!!
It will be a disaster for me and my son if we can not manage to visit our dream place there!!
No..... words!!!
By the way Munich is beautiful and everyone knows the Legoland.......and Lego is Danish!!!!
....and all these years we were asking why Geobra do not care about the collectors!!!!!

Zirndorf Funpark info is here:
http://playmobil-funpark.de/funpark/node/117 (http://playmobil-funpark.de/funpark/node/117)
The Anfahrt page is http://playmobil-funpark.de/funpark/node/38 (http://playmobil-funpark.de/funpark/node/38) You can enter where you are and it will show you a route to get to the Funpark. There is a Bus or a train & Bus that you can take from Nuremberg.
Use the Bus & Bahn link on the left of the page and it even gives a timetable.

That does not sound like a very good way to advertise the fun park? I hope Tiermans links help you find your way

I agree! :)9

My goodness! What a nightmare, to be so close, yet unable to get there!
Hopefully Tiermann has provided you with all of the necessary information.
Good luck! :crossed:

There is also a help-page on how to get there by bus & train:
http://playmobil-funpark.de/funpark/de/node/40
You can reach the FunPark easily from Nuremberg with the S-Bahn and a small bus-ride.
The ticket that brings you down from munich is very likely also giving you a free ride on the busses. :)
Hope you will get there... ...we are waiting for pictures. ;)
best,
socrates

Sorry to hear about you little guy getting sick on your trip. It sounds like a bummer that you did not get to go but you need to take care of more important things. I really hate when we plan big trips and one of our little ones get sick moments before or on the trip 8} as if getting ready and all for the trip was not enough work
Here is to a speedy recovery :**:
