It's been a while since voting closed, but I've only now plucked up the courage to thank you all for voting me the "Uncoolest Klicky". It may not be complimentary but it's the first time I have won anything, or even been picked for anything. At school if we worked with partners in class, I had to work with the teacher as there were an odd number of students; I was always the last one left when teams were picked and at work I have always been overlooked for promotion. I believe that you think that the lady in the photo* is my wife. Sadly I am single as I lack the confidence to chat up women. She is just a neighbour who is returning the coffee pot she borrowed, although I am hoping she may share a simple meal with me.
The only friend I have ever had in my life is ....

my better looking twin brother!
CHEERS!!

Poor guy

Aww :'( :'( :'( Poor fellow
Sounds a bit like me!
Damo :)
-
You are welcome for the winning votes! Who thinks the prize, instead of a trophy should be a Klicky make over? ;)
-
   poor guy!
Did I mentioned I want that clickie so much now!
He reminds me of a character in some movie, but I can't figure out which!
-
He looks like he should be on King of the Hill.
Poor guy, his story was about to make me cry! I agree, he needs a klicky make over. A little paint and some contact lenses ought to do the trick. Alison, the twin brother is precious! You're right; he's slightly better-looking. ;)
-
 Great idea!
-
   I love him now!
-
That was a very nice touch to the contest. Great job and to me you made me dislike his outfit even more :0
-
Excellent and smart move these words ;) ;)
Poor guy, i
-
   at first i thought you were talking about yourself ,why you make him look like a looser? :hmm: :hmm:
-
He is not a loser.... he is the WINNER of the uncoolest clicky contest!
I have in mind another contest he could win
-

Specsavers is a large chain of opticians here in the UK, and their tv advert punchline, or slogan (as it were) is 'should have gone to Specsavers', as their tv adverts are often quite humerous ;D
Damo :)
-
  I can imagine now!

He's not going to like that  Anyway, he needs a long raincoat to complete that look. I think he's taken this rather well so far - I don't want an incident on my hands!!
Next time I go to Specsavers (and yes, I really do use that chain of opticians) I shall take the twins with me (but my eye test isn't due until September).

You are right, sorry uncoolest ckicky! We love and accept all clickies equally!

Unless they have committed some sort of crime - if you're right about him Gaston, the truth will out one day!!
-
And then Chris's SWAT team will swoop down and arrest him! :evilplan:
-
Unless they have committed some sort of crime - if you're right about him Gaston, the truth will out one day!!
Well I didn't accuse him of BEING... I said he LOOKED like one!
-
I know, Gaston, but you never know. It's usually the quiet ones .....
-

-
Well that disqualifies all of us!
-
Well among average people I am considered a quiet one... :o
-
That's ok, WoT. Not all quiet people are crooks. Still, we'll be keeping an eye on you. :hmm:

Good evening Gaston
Specsavers is about an ad for reading glasses and how people can get themselves into the most embarassing of situations just because they are not wearing the right lenses...
One of them is about a lovely blond lady who is arriving by train and jump into the arms of a gentleman she embraces with fire and passion...until she realized that her boyfriend was actually standing a few meters away on the same platform waiting for her and looking at the situation in disbelief  The ad film ends with the moto "She should have gone to Specsavers" ;)
Karim :)

That reminds me of the Sears Optical commercial, one of my favorites! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2dShCL4rSk
-
Thanks a lot Karim! That sounds really funny!
-
I so need to have him now...I will order him...I guess we'll see him wandering the Zoo all by his lonesome self...who knows what might happen though...
Did we already give him a name?
Maybe this should be the guy we use for the Time Machine at the start...just a thought...I want him to improve in life...maybe in a couple of years he can win at the coolest custom klicky!
-
Well among average people I am considered a quiet one... :o
You may be quiet as in low volume, but I do not consider people who run around dressed as knights and explorers "quiet".

No, I couldn't think of an appropriate name. He and his brother were to be "Bill & Ben the Caravan Men" but neither Bill nor Ben actually fit him. Oswald, Gaylord or Neville sprang to mind also.
We could have a competition to name him!!!!
Has anyone noticed, by the way, that the twins actually have different glasses. I didn't until I looked at the photo I took :-[

I would name him Gerbert :)
-
How about Herman?
-
Not Colin, as there is a little Collin known to us on this forum.
Gerbert and Herman? Ideal names, although a lot of my unnamed male Klickies are nicknamed Herman (the German) until they get real names, so how about Herbert?! :D
-
Not Colin, as there is a little Collin known to us on this forum.
yes? :hmm: who is he i don't know him ::) ::) ::) bobby then ;)
so how about Herbert?! :D
Herbert von karajan? ;D

Collin is Jenna's (playmoholics) little boy. :)
What about Homer?

Wait until you try to pet that wild racoon, bb! You'll end you with a bloody stub! :0

I almost got attacked by a raccoon in total darkness once.... but it's a long story.

I have a name for the Uncoolest Klicky. It suddenly came to me mid-morning.
In a cruel irony, he shall be called Ken :o
-
   That's great!
-
Glad you like it ;D
-
Don't let my 'Kirkbean Ken' hear you :'(

Elaine (http://www.anchoredbygrace.com/smileys/mgqueen.gif)
-
Aw, that Ken is much cuter!
-
I think your "Kirkbean Ken" is quite capable of fielding any insults or mistaken identity. I wouldn't want to meet him down an alley on a dark night
-
 (for all the thread, actually ... I only read it now.)
-
I decided today that I'm going to call Ken's twin brother Reg (short for Reginald and, for those of you for whom English is not your first language (even though most of you speak it better than I do) the name is pronounced "Redge")
-
Reg is a very appropriate name for him
-
Reg and Ken sound so lame they fit well with these uncool klickies .
-
I hope there's no one here named Reg or Ken!
-

Elton John isn't a member on here, is he?!
Naming modern Klickies certainly has more problems attached than naming Romans or Mediaeval ones   Although my imagination doesn't stretch to either. Thank goodness I've only got four Romans (Nauseous, Gaseous, Acrimonious and Deciduous ;D)
-
   Great names! :)9
-
Thanks :) Deciduous is the one with the horse (4272). He keeps falling off ::)
-

Could be a problem for some trying to name all their mediaval or roman klickies i think.....

why you can call them george 1001 , george 1002 .... etc ;D ;D ;D
-
I actually went about naming my klickies...
I stored all their names in the space of their heads, like another collector.
Then I bought more... :hissyfit: ;D
But I do have most of my Medieval peoples named.

Cool !!!!

Cool !!!!
Yeah... the first 3 were fun.... ::)
-
It is fun to name them, especially the medieval ones. It is hard once their numbers start getting a little high....
That is a great idea to store their names in their head. :thanks:

meaning write their names in small pieces of paper inside their heads or hats??? or write them on the hair ???

"Hi, what is your name?"
"Um, I forgot, where is the executioner?" ;D

That just triggered a totally random memory.... my brother used to have the indians scalp my little settler clickys by popping their hair off.

very realistic, did his Indians have a collection of your settlers hair at their camp? and did he realize your settlers were airheads ;D
-
Yes, I think at some point we may have devised a way to string hair pieces on a spear.
-
Three cheers for the way that Playmobil inspires imaginative play in children (you were children at the time, weren't you!? :o)
-
 Yes, we were children then.

OOPS! If my hubby finds out he can behead them, we all are in big trouble. Better hide my clickies before they become headless wonders.....now if I can just remember where the heck I hid them the last time....Pgal 8} 8}
-
 Yes, we were children then.
I still am and always will be except when at work, driving, etc <:> <:> <:> <:> <:>

Sounds like my son!! When I told him he wasn't to use my fairies for dive-bombing the other Klickies, they became super-heroes instead  (not quite the same as beheading, but just one more difference between the male and the female of the species  )
PS Back on topic, I think Ken may have a girlfriend. The jury is currently out but there's a woman in the caravan drinking coffee with him at the moment. They've been there two days :o
-
MUM:
Two days is an awfully long time...even for someone as brain dead as Ken. Maybe you better peek in the caravan and see if they are still breathing. It would be so saaaadddd if a Klicky died.
Pgal, :'( :'( :'(

Shortly after I posted, and you posted, he was taken away in the back of a police car ??? The woman is still in the caravan - I suspect he may have poisoned her. I am reliably informed that she is just waiting for him to come back!!
-
Dang! This sounds serious; I knew that that scoundrel Ken had no brains or morals, but this kind of behavior is pathetic to say the least. Hope the lady makes it through okay. Please keep us posted as to her condition. Any idea which set she might have originated from? Maybe we can locate the rest of her family before she croaks from the poisoning.
Fingers crossed, pgal
-
I think we should hear what HE has to say. We can't jump into conclusions like this. 8-)
There must be a spokeman from GUGU (Group of Uncool Guys United) that can give some info about the case!
She is not price either! (my grandma would say)

This could be very serious indeed. I've just realised that she's a single mum and she doesn't have the baby with her :o

I'm going to have to tackle a retrospective photostory here, aren't I? Trouble is, I can't find my camera (I think it's in the van, and my husband has borrowed it to go to work). Busy tomorrow so might tackle it on Thursday.
I think the woman in question is a bit old to be a Britney, but she has to be a wrong 'un for sure. "Troubled" I think is the polite expression.
-
 Oh yes, a photostory would be great :picsplz:
-
I knew thet with that look he couldn't attract young girls.... so he had to go with the elderly.... the shame!!!

Hm. You know, that top doesn't look bad on a female klicky. Of course, anatomically speaking, it's a little off, but still.
