Hello all!
Name's EmGee and I reside in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
I used to have Playmobil toys when I was a little kid (a long, loooong time ago!), a couple of years ago I came across a nativity set at my local Target, I had to get it... and that rekindled my affair with Playmobil. That was a couple of years ago... now I'm running out of room in my house to store/keep my collection. ;D
I live about an hour away from the Palm Beach Gardens Playmobil FunPark, love the place, and stop by every chance I get.
Last year I introduced my niece and nephew to the wonders of owning klickies... now they can't get enough! He is into the pirates/egyptians while she is obssessed with the princess/fairies theme.
Anyway... I'm glad I found this forum.

Hello and :welcome: from Louisiana! Your story sounds quite familiar; my childhood adoration of playmobil was also rekindled when I came across some sets at target.
You live near the funpark? :inlove: :inlove: :inlove: I'm so jealous!!! I would love to see it sometime. Forget Disney World! Great to have you with us, and I hope you have a wonderful time here! I'm glad you found us, but beware, we can be a bad influence on your pocketbook. ;)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Yeah, the PBG Funpark is pretty awesome... although a bit on the small side compared to others. But I'm not complaining! As for my bank account, well, it has taken a pretty serious hit since I started my Playmobil obsession. :)
Last year my S.O. and I went on a road trip from Florida to DC to visit the inlaws... of course, it turned into a shopping spree! I hit pretty much every local/small toy stores on the way back... found some pretty cool stuff. I'm itching to make a stop at TRU today and see what they have on clereance/sale! Can't help it!!! Is there a support group or 12 step program I can join?

Hello there.... the Funpark consist of just the shop and the area where the kids can go play with the klickies... that's pretty much it.
It's nothing like, let's say, the Zirndorf Funpark. But, still, I love it... and just going to the shop is enough for me. And my S.O. (significant other) usually waits in the car... not being a Playmo Freak, he doesn't understand how I can spend a least an hour in the shop. :)
