Title: St Francis of Assisi
Post by: Alison01326 on April 23, 2011, 18:02:06
This little scene was originally planned as a contribution to the modern war (part of the peace-keeping movement) but by the time I was able to put it together it didn't seem relevant.  So I'm posting it here instead  :)

Photobucket.

Thanks all.  It was quite hard to get a clear photo of all the creatures. I took loads but it looked better in "real life"!!

And a dinosaur, too...   :o
And a unicorn, and you can't see the scorpion but he's under the cactus.  I had a little bit of help with this

That's so cute, Alison! I know what you mean about looking better in real life; it's so hard to get all the little details in a picture. But it looks great!

Strange
Strange? As in an odd choice?  Isaac goes to St Francis School, and when a brown cloak arrived in a lot of miscellaneous Playmobil from EBay he wondered if I could "make" a St Francis for him to do a display.  He lost interest in the display idea so I put it together and then he regained interest which was when the dinosaur and the unicorn put in an appearance together with the "accessories" .

Aha! Glad you could see it, as Photobucket is supposed to be reliable.

Well now you all know the reason behind the picture too.  I could see his little mind clicking over in church this morning as he eyed up the scale of the Easter Garden and the empty tomb  ::)

It's very nice to see what can be done to get many different animals in one shot.

It's a great composition :-) Thanks for sharing!!
