Title: Western Diorama - Part 1 - The Farm
Post by: Skywalker on April 17, 2011, 20:17:03
Started this weekend with some parts for the big western diorama. I finished the farm  and 50% of the snake river ranch. cleaned all my trains and did a pre set up. it was fun setting up some parts inkl. the custom rails and the train outside in the sun - family had a great time.
did some pics which i will post now. here is the first

Very nice.  You will need to build some new buildings on your land to house your dioramas.

Wonderful photography as always, looking forward to watching the diorama grow.  With so many recent discussions about trains, I am ready to bring out my 4034, it has been stored away for a very long time.

Elric : thx ! yeah they should bring it back to life - but it would be hard to make it better. the stuff that is allready released over the years is so well done.

Playmoholics: thank you.

Wesley: the complete loft above my studio is now playmoarea / workshop and miniature studio…castle theme and port royal are set up in a corner of my studio downstairs and is allways a highlight for kids / parents ( ! ) visiting us.

kaethe : thank you. great to hear that the train section comes back to life. the 4034 is a very rare set i wish i would have. i might look for the steaming mary loose but i am very happy with the 4052 at the moment
