I am posting this question on behalf of Giorginetto: Is there a control for the signals on the LGB tracks? This control is used for the signals which allow the train to stop and go, meaning that the signals can control the movement of the train. I hope I am expressing the question properly...
Thank you. :)

I do not exactly understand, what you want:
• Signal controlled by a switch
or
• Signal which stops trains
or
• both?

With Signal 50920 or 50940 or 50950 or 50960 you can control trains:
You make a section with isolating joins (or insulated track pieces LGB No. 10153). If the signal is on STOP, the loco in this section stops and if the signal is on GO the train runs.
Here in the instruction you can read all about this from LGB (also in english, german & french!) [KLICK!] (http://champex-linden.de/download_lgb_bedienungsanleitungen/509x0.pdf).

boy G scale gets expensive. If only I could charge to move freight around the property to at least recover some of the infrastructure investment
Here is your cup of coffee delivered by PRR and it will be $6.50 ;)
