I would assume that Andi customized it.
Its very well done, and only a extreme fan would realize that it was not painted by playmobil

But thats only my .02 cent on the matter

Meg, I would agree with you except that Andi posted it in the News forum and not in the Customs gallery. Hmmmm.

Could there be a resurgence of the Western theme, as a new style horse would indicate? Or is Andi just teasing us with a beautiful custom?

Well, we already found out there are some Western items being released via Direct Service and then we have the Super Set that was obviously western themed...   It wouldn't be too far off base to think that there could be another set/sets on the way.  Maybe an exclusive or a Target style set.  I don't know if I see the Western theme being completely restored.. but there does seem to be ways Playmobil is infusing their line with different Western sets.

The Western theme does seem popular again here in the UK from what I have seen being sold and making good money on ebay.

 I would like to think that this is a genuine Playmobil horse and that other colours and designs will follow.

If it is another custom, I like it and wouldn't mind a few of them for myself.

It was my new customizing !!

I want to give you a thrill for a new western theme !!  ;D

I saw a picture from a real funpark horse and get this idea to make it for the indians !
