Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this:
http://www.keystonetrains.com/circustrain.html (http://www.keystonetrains.com/circustrain.html)
I've read reviews on other sites that were less than glowing, but these were comparing it to LGB and other comparable brands.
I was thinking it would work for a tie-in to the Playmobil Circus.

I've never had any experience with Keystone trains. I was wondering if anyone has taken the Circus trailers and fitted them to the base of a train wagon.

tomegood: i have seen this - looks very good.

I'm going to have to start up the old google and find some pics.

tomegood: i remember seeing one over weeks in ebay germany. it looked like an easy fitting combination - if you have a circus and trains this would be the ice on the cake

I've got the trains. Just no circus. I know what I'm going to start looking for on ebay in the next few weeks.

t : sounds like a great project. the wagon i saw was made with this :
http://www.playmobil.de/on/demandware.store/Sites-DE-Site/de_DE/Product-Show?pid=3514-A&cgid=1979
maybe this would be a good start.
Wesley: the train looks really good but the stickers might be a problem because there is no keystone circus in the playmo cosmos.

And its a great way for me to start into the circus theme. Yeah all the older trailers look the best for it I'll just keep on the lookout for a broken one on ebay.

t: i really would like to see your results.

I won't be able to buy any circus stuff until the end of this month, but once I get the stuff I'll post pics.

Now are you planning on putting one of these circus trailers on top of a train flat car or actually making a train car out of a circus wagon ?

Making a train car out of it.

the custom i saw was a circus trailer on ( i think ) a flat train wagon. it looked perfect.

Thank you Wesley for your link! The Keystone Circus Train is in G scale size. That's exactly the size of Playmobil trains (and LGB). It sure would blend in perfectly into the circus theme. But isn't it a little bit too expensive? :o
You can create a wonderful circus train without having to buy the Keystone one. Here is a picture of my last circus train creation.

 There is so much going on in your diorama I could barely make out where the train was
