Ooh, I forgot it was april fools day! ;D I love to play pranks. ;)

Hm, it seems like it's fake to me. Towards the end, notice the names of some of the guys being interviewed, the guy that is "bald by choice."  :hmm: Mixed old-style and new-style klickys, the school building, some of the things they say are very sarcastic. However, it's veeeery well done! Beautiful! I love the i-phones.

It's a great ad.

We know it must be an April Fools joke though, Playmobil doesn't do licensed products

I really like this custom I store using Apple as a launch pad! I hope Playmobil actually is in the planning phase to produce this awesome mall kiosk! If Apple would share this as a consolidated platform with Playmobil, who knows what could come next from the design pipeline! ;D

It's a great video (one of the presenters even looks a bit like me when I was younger!) and very well done.

I noticed there was one of those Segways being used.

It's certainly a good advert both for Apple and Playmobil, although how Geobra will take it is maybe open to debate.

yeah I've notice the segway too, but is it a custom?? or that set is already out in germany?

It must be a custom I'm sure.  The wheels look as if they have come from an old Playmobil wheelchair.

Yeah, it doesn't look like the one from the new sets.

Anyone notice the set number is 1984? Could this be a reference to the George Orwell/ big brother is watching you thing?

You guys are looking at it wrong. It's not a PM joke, it's an Apple joke. 1984 was when the Mac was first released, the product that put Apple on the map.

And a very fine and subtle joke it is (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v321/luwerner/gif/cheers.gif). I like that.
Oh yes, I would love to have the set too. Way more then I want an iPad.

The Playmobil custom would be a better investment for sure! Playmobil lives forever, technology is outdated constantly!

You know, after you click on "buy it" or "add to wishlist" there's a place where if you want this product for real, you can put in your email address and let your voice be heard.

Aw,...this is an attempt to make Playmobil to see how much of a demand there would really be for this venture! :high5: Applemobil

HOW COULD I MISS THIS ONE!!!!

Thats so great! I want one too! :)

That's perfectly manufactured. I am not sure if playmobil was not even designing it.
Sometimes they are doing things like this. Once they set up a chess game with the (at this time) new soccer players for a big german newspaper. But unfortunately, it was only a unique piece of art.  ::)

This is just beautiful, though I have seen better customs than that of Steve Jobs...  :P

best,
socrates

I do not want to demotivate you, but there will be a original playmobil segway with the future planet series, to be released in september 2011.  :D
