The 30 Jahre Playmobil book is now available in Enmglish as Playmobil - the story of a smile.

The copy I ordered from amazon.co.uk on Monday and arrived today.  Looks good. :smile:

Mine has just arrived as well. :)

 I didn't take much notice of the dimensions of the book on Amazon and was really shocked to receive a large hard backed book larger than your normal Xmas annuals. :o

 It is just full of top quality photographs and lots of stuff I didn't already know about, plus it also confirms some of my own personal findings into the dates of certain playmobil developments.

Theres also a few pictures of people we all know as members here towards the back of the book with their own playmobil creations. :wave:

I will sit down tonight and start to read it properly, I've only given it a quick flick through so far.

The size of the book surprised me, too, Garry.  I thought from the picture that it would be about the same size as Playmobil Collector.

I am on Amazon right now, trying to get one ordered.
I am excited about getting this.
I can only hope that this sells well in English and an English Publisher will translate Richard's book into English.

Good point Meg! The best way to be sure we get what we want is to be supportive when those things are provided.

I have already added this book to my next Amazon order, and cannot wait to get it.

Did you know that the German language version of Richard's book is available from Playmo online in the US. Hopefully if they sell a few and the other book sells it will get translated.

I alsmot ordered the German version from Playmobil USA
I have been reluctant because my German is next to nil (Only better than nothing due to German Ebay)
I only hope that Richard's book will  be translated soon
