Title: dismantling victorian children and babies
Post by: Luis on March 16, 2011, 22:48:23
i'm a big fan of the elastic band method to take children kickies apart...but am i the only one who experiences problems with the victorian kids? ??? they all have collars and they make it impossible to apply this dismantling method... :hmm:

also, is there a way to take babies apart? ??? new babies come with bendable torsos and i would like to know if it's possible to take them apart for customizations :)

Skypurr Jr. has come up with a method they posted somewhere that works well!

You know reading these lines... its kinda freaky...

here is Skypurr Jr.'s thread http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=4107.0 but it does not deal with child klickies that have colars... maybe you can try the pincer on them Luis... (ok now I freak out more...maybe because they are child klickies...)

Well, the babies break in half at the torso very easily, of course, so you can change out the legs. But I have also had trouble taking their heads and arms off. I need to get one I don't mind losing and experiment with taking it apart.

You're right, Panos; out of context this does sound really strange!

 Breaking babies in half, sacrificing one to experiment with taking its head off... this does sound pretty bad!

You must have strong hands, Gaston. Though I do find it is easier to pop the heads off of kids than adults, when using the rubber band method.

 I always do feel really guilty tightening that rubber band around their necks, like I am hurting them! It really freaks me out! Whacking their backsides on a table never bothered me,  but the rubberband thing does.

I just love that title of the sticky "beheading children" especially since they are smiling the whole time

Though I'm Belgian, I don't know how to disassemble (klicky-)children... ::) I'll ask my local "man in black with white collar".  ;D
