I recently started to excavate an old garage of mine to put in concrete. I needed to move some cars out and when I opened one up that was sealed for quite a while I was pleasantly surprised by my forgotten stash. I put these in the car to keep them out of sight from my kids when I had the office. When I moved the collection to the barn I paid no attention to them. Now with the job I get to sort is all out. These are the type of strange situations that must odd to non collectors. I recall the story where the collector years ago had a huge MIB collection that he had to sell due to his wifes frustration. It all went to a consignment shop.

It was a TRU sea plane. When it first came out at TRU it was a great bargain compared to the police version. I picked up a few for possible painting. Oops I guess I need to get around to it :-[ I did find a new 5300 with the original playmobil cardboard box in there <:>

Thanks, I thought it looked like a sea plane but couldn't work out why it didn't look like mine!!! I have the police version.

After you have 3 boys under 10 you would understand why I am the way I am 8} :loco: :hellol:
until recently I had 16 cars/trucks 2 boats, 2 motorcycles, 4 ATV's, 3 tractors & mountains of small equipment ::) things get a little confusing around here :lol: nothing fancy but all very functional

Fantastic Ras!! A real treasure hunt!!! Unfortunately, I never forget where I placed my playmobil so no surprises of such kind for me... :(

They fit in the company car , its an estate car !!!! Thast how i managed to trnasport my huge egyptian/ roman/ gaul purchase . So now you know why i have an estate car for work :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: !!! The other one is a garage queen and does have the Sherlock Holmes Special inside but that about how much Playmobil fit in it :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Once yes. It was completely full of trees and4 (!!!) Playmobil dioramas ( Dinos and Pirates and Circus and Egyptians ) i actually tried to cover them a bit but i am sure people noticed them in the company car park. There was Playmobil in the front passenger seat and thre rear sets were dropped and there was playmobil everywhere , 4 playmo dioramas take a lot of space!!!!! I dont care :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
It was a great playmo day !!!!!

I have to say I don't know how many of items I actually have anymore, but it's great to look for something you can't remember where you put it, & find a bunch of items you'd forgotten about! It's like euphoria all over again :cloud9:! That's a perk of getting old, everydays like a new adventure, first is finding where I left my wallet, second my shoes, & third my,....... ??? Then sometime during the day I read the obituary & see if my names in it, if it's not I take my shower! ;D

I was talking to my husband about this, and he had a confession!! No, not Playmobil, but he has a load of Scalextric hidden in one of his cars (something to do with there being no room in the loft :-[ :lol:)

Oh not there is a fun toy, I have the really old sets of track. I really like the new digital ones but playmobil takes precedent. I remember we had the Mini Coopers called Mad Hatter and the Mini HaHa. They were able to do 360ยบ's
You see I am not as crazy as you think, or your husband is crazier than you thought :lol: or maybe we are all crazy and we need nurse Ratchet ;D

When I started to flatten all my empty boxes that I have I kept coming across accessories that I felt I would use later so I left them in the box. I also have a pile of stickers I was to lazy or my hands were not clean to put them on. Now I have to figure out where the sets are to put them on 8}
That picture of the unopened sets in my x office, at lease I know where that pile is ;) It has grown though

that I forget about some of my playmo... :o
To me, that seems like too much.
But then again, you and I collect in very different ways Ras.
Perhaps it is just easier to remember what pieces you are meant to have,
if you know what army, then what group of the army they need to be in. ;)
