NOW HEAR THIS * NOW HEAR THIS *
I received an email from Mrs Irene Effraimidis the Marketing manager of playmobil greece and i copy paste it here:
Dear Mr. Mavraganis,
We are very glad to inform you that we are able to offer a temporary
solution for Greek Playmobil collectors to place orders for single spare
parts to support their Playmobil creations.
Please be so kind as to note the following terms and conditions for placing
orders as a collector:
· We can only accept orders for spare parts contained in Playmobil
items of the current main export assortment as well as of deleted items – as
long as stocks last.
· All orders will be shipped from a German destination to the
collector´s address in Greece.
· The only method of payment is payment in advance by money transfer
to a German account. Please note that payment by credit card or PayPal is
not possible.
· Orders will have to be placed by filling in the attached order form
which must be sent to my attention (at least for the beginning).
· We will check the availability of the requested spare parts and
inform you accordingly
· A non-binding detailed quotation for the available spare parts will
be established and sent to you. There, you will be able to see the total sum
of your order which is the amount of the payment in advance (quoted spare
part prices plus shipping costs, depending on the actual weight of the
shipment).
· Together with the detailed quotation, we are going to send you the
bank references for the payment by money transfer in advance.
· As soon as the bookkeeping department can register the incoming
payment for your order, the spare parts will be sent to your address.
· Please allow a delivery time of approximately 10 – 12 working days
on receipt of the payment
In case you find the above proposal agreeable, please let us know and take
advantage of it at your convenience.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards
Irene Efremidis
**** Thats great news and i am really happy Mrs Effraimidi responded to our request !!!! *** These are great news fellow Greek playmobil fans and I am really pleased with the outcome of our discussions etc etc
-
these are great news george !!!! :cham: :cham: :cham:
-
This is fantastic news, George!!! Congrats to you and all the greek collectors! I know you all have been waiting a long time for this. Kind of sounds like in some ways your ds will be easier to use than ours.
-
Congrats :hatoff:
-
Congratulations on progress made, but what does "orders on a single spare parts" mean? Can you only order one part or only one of each part? ???
-
I was wondering that, too, but they may mean individual parts, as in not whole sets.
-
Any chance of her accepting Brazilian orders? :'( :'( :'(
-
WOW :high5:! That is a great achievement, George! Now to have all of your Greek collector friends participate to show Hella there is market for this endeavor!
-
The greek collectors in here who will be getting parts orders please email me your full name and a phone numbers so that i pass this information to Mrs Effraimidi as requested so they have a collectors database and a reference for making such orders as its only limited to a few greek collectors . It only open to greek collectors and the whole project is done on an initiative and the pressure that Mrs effraimidi put on playmobil as you can imagine reading the order process described
Personally , as a token of thanks i shall give her a bottle of fine champagne when i go to playmobil next ( to pick up my 102 balck lion guard order ;D ;D ;D)
-
Great news! Really nice that they try to find a way to help collectors. :D
If it works out well, it might encourage them to open an official spare parts department in Greece. :crossed:
-
We can only hope, & with any luck this will spread to other countries that don't have this valuable service!
-
This is a really great achivement for the Greek Playmobil Collectors!!!!
A big THANK YOU to Mrs Efraimidi for helping us so much in this endevour!!!
I am really happy our meetings and pressure finally payed off!!!
I am really anxious to put the new service to the test!!!
One point though, it would be even greater if they accepted payment by credit card or Paypal, but I guess one step at a time.... Since we must send payment to a German bank account, that means that payment will take a long time to reach that bank account. Last time that I bought a playmobil set from a german ebay seller who only accepted bank transfer as means of payment, that payment took almost a month to reach his bank account... so that means longer time receiving the items... But hey, we can't have it all... at once ;D
-
good for you, Greek folks! :)
-
Congratulations. That's a fantastic achievement. Well done!
-
Great news for you all! I noticed that the whole attitude of PM towards collectors has improved recently. I sent the payment for an order a few days ago and got a message from UPS today saying they'd picked up the packet at PM.
They never did this before. I'm impressed.
BTW, congratulations George for a hard fought battle!
Cheers.

Do not worry about the bank transfer time because i 'm transfering 2-3 times per week and the average waiting(receiving) time is 1-2 days.I think the your seller was a little bit spooky!

No it happened to me before... and that time was a transfer to a UK account. Maybe it has to do with the bank...

May 1-2 banks are very slow but i think that the reason is the seller

It was a team effort not just mine. I did tell Playmobil Hellas though in my last big order which was a few days ago and followed another large order that If we dont get some short of DS service here for the few collectors we are in Greece i wont be getting much from Playmobil Hellas . Anbd I must have been a considerable % of their income in 2010 i think      !!!!!!
Please please Sir Wolf, Angelo email me your full names and a telephone number ASAP as Mrs Effraimidi wants me to give her a reference list of the Greek collectors , this service will only be limited to the few Greek collectors and its a personal favour to us not going through the proper purchase Playmobil procedures and channells. And any other Greek collector - playmo1989 etc please email me your names and a tel number if you also plan to get parts !!!!!!
-
Please note that I passed to Mrs Effraimidi Wolf Knight and Grangel . If other Greek memebrs want to join this list please PM me your full name and a telephone number and I shall pass this info to Mrs Effraimidi.
