Title: Prince Regent - 3740 Ship Custom

This is the first of two Schooner ships I've painted. Originally with a white hull and orange deck I repainted this as the hull had gone very yellow so I resprayed it white and painted the deck navy blue.  I wanted to do a pleasure boat for the Victorians and ended up doing the Prince Regents private schooner instead.
I found a very nice crest which I printed out and added to sail for a more royal look.

I also customised a figure to be the Prince Regent as well.

I think this one may be my favorite! It's simple, but beautiful. I love the color of blue that you used.

Err thanks very much but it's more a case of trial and error. I'm willing to have a go at anything. Maybe I'm just fickle! I get bored doing the same things over and over so I have to keep changing from one theme to another. Currently I'm back on the Victorian Mansions with a couple of new designs.

And I like the Prince Regent-klicky as well! Origanilly the redcoated pirate-Captain but now in darkblue... quite precision work to repaint his upperbody, whileleaving the original printing on his chest intact and adding a nice painted(?) shoulderbelt.

Beautiful detailing.  I love the silver ornamentation around the gunnel.  Simple, but quite regal, as well as the decal for the sail.
