Just 1 little bitty detail...
The boats shadow is not quite right. ;)
But even that is not very noticeable. :)

That looks fantastic, Skywalker! Simply gorgeous! I wish playmobil's box art looked that good. Can you imagine how many more people would buy it?

WoT : you are right. my lights shine from left , the sun is in front. but the boat allready creates shadows which i repainted correct because i couldn´t get them from the sand.

bb: wow . that is a big compliment - thank you ! maybe somebody from playmobil sees these pics one day...you never know

i will post some more pics from this setup today so please watch this space. it just takes i little longer because the setup is really big ( 2m x 4m ) there is much more in it and i have to find a right viewpoint to get the best shots. luckily i have 2 free days and reserved some time for the pics but now we have a little family walk...

bb: it´s one professional studio light + a little ikea light for a warm tone + the flash of my camera. the white sand reflects very nice and the shadows look quite realistic when the light is coming from above / side. you can get a light like this but the sun moves...:)...and it´s to cold at the moment  :'(

On the second picture, back there, you should always try to pay better attention on where the light source is coming from in the picture ... In that one, the sun seems to be way in the horizon (behind the boat), and the shadows are against it ... (It's hardly noticeable either ...)

The pictures are very beautiful!

When I read the thread title I thought it was an adaptation of Star Wars with Egyptian playmo ... ::) Soooo, that's an idea ;D
