I was just checking www.playmobil.nl to see if the Microsets were available yet. To my surprise they were. But then I saw the prices :'(
The sets are only 7.99 in Germany - but a whopping 10.99 in the Netherlands!
About a 30% more!
A quick check on the single football players learnt that that's the same there:
Germany: 2.99
Netherlands: 4.99
That's about 40% more!
So, I wonder how are the prices worldwide (now) ?

It's a similar situation here in the UK too, unfortunately. :(
I don't know what percentage mark-up there is, but I've noticed that whatever a set costs in Euros, the figure is almost the same here, but with a Pound symbol instead. :hmm: For example, Specials cost about £1.99 here, which is almost 3 Euros. ::)
I suppose the extra cost is to cover the expense of distributing to other countries, but it seems a bit strange that prices in the Netherlands are so much higher, given that it's much closer to Germany than the UK. :-\

Playmobil is actually expensive! I saw the 'polar researcher' set in Birkenhead, and it cost £5.95! We just have to accept that playmobil is always going to be expensive!
