Today I got the e-newsletter from playmobil Netherlands.
It says these sets are available now in the shops:

I allready have the blisterpack with fairies. Saw the motorbikes in the shop, but still no new specials. Owwwwwwwwwwwww, I want a samurai!

one more year for us ::)
-
Wow, I really like the new horse manes!
That criminal guy is a real mish mash though his black SUV is cool.
-
so Holland gets the same sets at the same time as Germany? :)
-
Well, there seems to be a little delay. The future world sets for example are not available yet.
-
They aren't available in Germany yet, either. There's always about a month's delay between Germany and the Netherlands (though I don't bother much with that, personally, as I live close to the German border, and prices in Germany are usually about 20% lower.)
-
Lucky you... We get a year's delay in all new sets... and two months delay in my city... All orders are processsed from Playmobil Hellas Central in Athens... and they are veeery slow....
-
Yes, the prices in Germany are quite a bit lower. I have noticed that when I was there last summer. Next time I´m there I will bring a big bag.
-
I can't wait to get those new style horses. They're so awesome!!! Has anyone noticed that the colors of the stalls that come with these horses are very compatible with the barn in the new farm theme? I've been trying to tell if they use the same system and could be connected in some way.... :eh?:

thank you for the info - my sister is in Holland, I think I'll submit a request :)

If the items you want from the new collection are not in the shop, they can be orderen on line from our local DS. Just a tip.
The big toy stores do not stock the entire collection, I'm afraid. And there are very few other toy stores here. Such a pity.
-
I have seen a number of the new sets on ebay. I bet they go for big prices!
-
Though I don't speak German, I'm already going through eBay.de to see what does ship here to Brazil.

are the horse sets easy to get in stores?
-
Well, I had a quick look yesterday what they had in the shops. I'm not sure if I remember it well, because I'm not very into the horse-theme. I thought I saw some.

That sounds pretty strange, here the big toy stores (Bart Smit, Intertoys, Toy Champ etc) would be very unwise not to stock the entire collection even though it's so close to the German border, but maybe that's a regional thing. I also still know a little toy shop (well, not so little as they used to be anymore :)) that specialises in real toys (Playmobil, Lego, Barbie etc.) with an enormous wall full of Playmobil, their prices are competitive with German prices.

Well do the big stores stock the entire collection in your neck of the woods then? Even the big Bart Smit store at Utrecht CS has about half the collection that DS has, at best.
-
They do (obviously not the DS parts that are only available through DS anywhere), and they're usually pretty quick with the new releases. In Heerlen Bart Smit, Intertoys and V&D all sell the complete collection, Blokker and some other stores have a selection. There's also a large Toy Champ store in the mall near the Roda-football stadium and there's lots of shops in the surrounding towns (the best being Top 1 Toys in Vaals, not just because it used to be my childhood toy shop but also because of the large collection and the aforementioned prices).

Your sis in the Netherlands?! Did you send her with a business-jet, to buy up all the new releases that you otherwise would have to wait for a year longer? ;D
Btw, if she would be in the eastern part of the Netherlands, and if she has a car at her disposal, she could perhaps cross into Germany, on Playmohunt?
Or, if she's in the south of the country, she could try a short cross into Belgium? We also get the new releases at the same time as in Germany (some weeks later, but f.e. in Ghent I know a shop that gets them almost simultaniously as Germany... And maybe in Antwerp there are also such shops). Both "Ghent" and "Antwerp" are really close to the Dutch south-border.

Well, it seems to be that one has to be carefull when Hadoque ask for a favor. He'll have you rund around half of Europe next!

I think you misunderstood or that I didn't explain myself well...
When I suggested that Luis' sister could check out some border-shops in Germany or the north of Belgium, I meant for purchasing Playmo that Luis might want. ;) I certainly didn't mean to ask her for going on a shopping-tour for ME!
But...hmm... wait a minute...now you mention that..; she could drop Luis' new Playmo off "chez-moi", for a small period of examination & quality-testing by an expert... of the Playmo that is. :P
-
Hmmm, now that you mention it: for someone travelling around that area, north of Belgium and the Dutch-German border area, it is nigh impossible not to pass my house.
-
Or mine, I live between both Belgium and Germany without living in them... ;)
-
What? New Moresnet?
-
Just a bit north of that. ;)

Hmm....I used to know the name of the area..."Limbago"... no... "Lamberg"...ehrr... :!: "Limbucht"? ... Something like that.
:P
