Title: Phantom of the Opera
Post by: WarriorOfToys on February 04, 2011, 23:36:08
I did this once before,
But I made a few changes, and we have a new cast. (http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/1516/icon3bd.jpg)

So here he is, Phantom of the Opera, reborn.

I fixed his mask so his eye shows out more.
And he has a bigger cloak.

Christine, and Roule.

Carlotta and Piangi.

And Madam Giry.

On the lake... ;D
I hope you like them. :)

I love them all.

Where does Christine's outfit come from? I don't think I've seen many female klickies all in red

Truth is I don't have many female klickies... :-[
So I will, but can't right now. :P

Carlotta's outfit comes from the Knights family set,
the scar, from the Victorian family set.

Thanks, I am glad you like them. :)

A few perhaps. ;)
Thanks. :)

Fantastic  I love the last picture

Thank you,
I am not so fond of it... :-\
I should have chosen a different background
where I didn't have to do as much modifying. ::)

Excellent custom figures, WoT :wow:! I look forward to seeing them appear in your upcoming photo story! :)9

Maybe Bill, maybe... ;)

How did you make the mask?

I cut it out of construction paper,
cut a groove, and overlapped the pages so the curved to fit the face,
then painted it white.
I cut off the earrings for an earring headset,
and tucked the page in-between the head and earring holder.
Put the hair over top, which held it all together.
I plan on scarring up his face under the mask as well soon enough. :0

I'd love to see a photo story of this, as I've never seen the show so don't know much about it really.  :-[

If you want to save the money to spend on playmobil, you should just rent the movie with Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum.  :yup: it's not the same as actually seeing it but it is pretty good!

You can use a soldering iron to disfigure the Phantom's face.

Just for you Elaine. ;)

You guys may even get to hear me sing... :-[

Or watch it for free on YouTube. :toot:
I didn't like it actually.
The play was MUCH better. :o
Still, it was ok I guess.

Yeah, the play is SO much better. It's the whole experience, like you're actually sitting in the opera; when the chandeleir falls, it'ss actually coming toward you, and the Phantom speaks from behind you... it's awesome! but the movie has really grown on me.

Very nice phantom WOT, I really like the other people too and the cave pic.  I don't think I've seen either the play or the movie in it's entirety.  It would be really cool to see some scenes acted out.
  :wow:  :wow:

Thank you for that Gaspodfreud! :)
I agree with you there,
The others were done as a sort of spur of the moment thing,
I already have plenty of ways to improve Christine,
And am thinking of ways to improve the others.

These are very nice looking customs, WarriorOfToys.  I really like the variety of the projects you choose.  A photo story or film based on these customs would be most welcome! :gent:
