Title: Our Conquistadores
Post by: playmojager on February 02, 2011, 19:58:09
Here are some pics from our (mine and my son's) small spanish army. Conquistadores are a favorite theme because of their plurality of clothes and arms and we will increase it soon. I hope some day Playmobil produce Aztecs or Mayas, it would be a pleasant surpise.

speaking of Aztecs, some person from Spain (don't remember who) once showed a customized pre-hispanic setting at a PM fan exhibition in Barcelona:

Ooh, that's cool. My brother has climbed to the top of the pyramid near Mexico City. Is it the temple of the sun? or another one? I think it's the temple of the sun.

That's the start of a very nice collection, playmojager.  Thank you for sharing your photos.   I like the varied clothing worn by your soldiers, just as it would have been.

Hey Luis-is cdjz on playclicks a guy from Mexico named Leon who in real life is a dentist?
I remember him from playmoboard and him having made some cool Aztec customs.  I wish he would join playmofriends.  He's a great guy.

I don't know what his name is :) but he's definately a dentist, and I think he was indeed a playmoboard member, so it must be him :)

I said 'her customs' b/c i mistook him with another (female) playclicks member :-[

Looks good!

You can sure see how much better the clip on breast plates look than just the printed ones when they are compared side by side.

Nice conquistadors!  I like the variety and your use of the new medieval cannon, which are perfect. :)
