As the final is done all knights quickly gather in front of the raised stage.

Citizens of Winterhaven, friends, family, but most of all you, competitors; THANK YOU!

A loud cheering can be heard for a long time!

I will not make this a long speech. But we do have prizes for the top 4 competitors so here goes without further ado. In fourth place Sir Adler from Saxony, Sir Adler receives a treasure scroll. Valthrun has only seen this one briefly and will gladly help you decipher it. Congratulations Sir Adler!

In third place, from far, far away, Aziz bin Tarek. He will receive a Cloak of Protection as his prize. Let’s hear it for Aziz!

In second place, Lord Vladimir of Piestany! He will receive the Ebon Axe, one of the most magical weapons ever seen. Thank you for your participation Lord Vladimir!

And then the winner, from Belathre, Sir Seamus Flynn! His prize is one of those rare Chrystal Swords! Sir Seamus, your prize is not only the sword but an honoree membership of the Crystal Guard if you accept. I would like to have your answer come sun down tomorrow.

The Winterhaven Jousting Champion: Sir Seamus Flynn!

As Sir Seamus leaves the stage. The king announces that Sir Merriadoc would like to speak a few words as well.

My fellow knights, it has been an honour to ride besides you these past days, but it is the last thing I will do in my function as Knight of Winterhaven.

My King I hereby return my Sword and Shield and will be forever your faithful subject, however my time as a leading knight is over.

King Darnald looks solemnly to Sir Merriadoc: I understand, although it pains my heart to see you go, I see it is the right decision. Please hand my your shield

And give your sword to the Queen

There he stands hero of the people, naked!

People of Winterhaven, THANK YOU for your support all these years!

City Guard of Winterhaven, thank you!

Fellow Knights, thank you for being here on this day for me. I have chosen this day for many reasons, but the main one is this:

I hope that one of you will take over my role as Knight of Winterhaven. What say you?

A silence, then cheering the crowd goes wild and the King and Merriadoc fall into each other’s arms. The Knights are silent looking at each other questioningly. Having a hard time grasping what just happened.

Thank you all for reading this far. This is not the final installment of the WJT. One more to go, the banquet, still some surprises to come, just not as big as todays I am afraid.

If anyone would like his/her champion to take over as Knight of Winterhaven please PM me and we’ll make it memorable (I hope someone will)

Sir Adler of Saxony offers his congratulations to Sir Seamus. :knight:

Excellent final video, Gis! :)  I wasn't expecting this latest development either.

While Sir Adler is quite pleased with the King's generous gift of the treasure scroll and would be honored to become the new champion of Winterhaven, he must return to his beloved Saxony and remain its champion.

Superb! :wow: I wish I could speak through the computer
because I cannot put what I would like to say into words fast enough!
This whole tournament was brilliant Gis!

It was magnificent in size,
and it stuck us all in our hearts! :)
I can only offer my dearest congratulations to this whole tournament!
And to our victor, Sir Seamus! (http://www.klickywelt.de/images/smilies/head_ritter.gif)

No other event have I ever participated in that the host was as noble
and so excellent at organizing all of this as to win our hearts!
You have done a fantastic job,
and if you need help with anything in the future,
tell me, and I will be willing and glad to help in anyway I can.

Thank you GIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A very great ending of the tournament (save for the banquet)! Aziz cannot take over, for he must resume his travels in his quest to rid the world of all evil (and to find his mates again).

As the recipient of the treasure scroll from the tournament, before he returns to his beloved Saxony, Sir Adler must use it to find the treasure mentioned in it.  No doubt this will be a dangerous journey, so Sir Adler wishes to put forth an invitation for several brave and hardy volunteers to accompany him on his quest.  Which brave souls will accept this invitation? :knight:

Oh, oh, oh!!! (raising hand and jumping up and down)  Sir Cecil doesn't want to go home yet.  His valley is just full moralistic talking animals anyway.   :toot:
He would be honored to accompany Sir Adler on his quest.  :knight:

Does it involve slaying of evil opponents or creatures not of this world?

Lord Etir shall join you.
I myself (King Aun) do not wish to travel home yet.
I shall stay a while and talk with his Grace, King Donald.

Sir Bart will have to pass on your kind offer, he will likely be needed at home soon. The High King, Grand Duke Bjardim of Pavelvania has not been in the best of health lately. The King of Salish and Lower Luxonia is a likely successor making politics all the rage back home.

King Iseroth has been asked to leave the tournanent due to his WAR!!! declarations etc . He is  very busy at his Kinddom raising more armies , training and preparing his entire  army invasion and conquer of the Yellow Dragons lands and kingdoms...

Sir Fergus would love to join you also, but alas his heart lies elsewhere and he must travel home to see if there is still a chance that the fair Rosamund could become his wife, although he fears she may already have been married to his brother.
If that is the case he will return at once and find you, to join in this marvellous quest.

Sir Cecil, Prince Aziz, and Lord Etir have graciously agreed to accompany Sir Adler on this treasure quest.  No doubt this courageous quartet will be successful! :knight:
