I am sorry if my post has upset anyone :o :o :o :o :o :o :o......
nothinf as such is clearly ever indended , this is all done in a fictional world of playmobil with the purpose to get our klickies together and create a large diorame
Angelo, i am sorry mate if this has upset you personally ??? ??? ??? ??? in any sense , i cant see why but nevertheless i am sorry if it had. I was merely copying hat you said in the tournament to create an excuse to start this thread which was itended to be a community get together to my playmo den, a grand set up and lunch !!! Well i am so sorry mate if if has upset you..
as far as the extremely rude comment with reference to the tournament , i cant see how this thread has anything to do with the magnificnet tournament that is on going, does that mean i cant make a thread inviting others to join to a get together event . All this ' provocation' is clealry well intended and after that you can see i am focussing on the details, how to organise this, the rules of engagement
and apart of my sincere apologies if this has upset you Angelo ( well has it , reading over your post you accept the war ) , i really cant figure out if i have upset or if you are playng along and join us in the grand set up with you army mate, truly i am confused !!!
As far as the other ' issue ' with reference to the tournament please explain to me what have i done wrong , have i broken any rules or upset anyone ? This is about a different community event that will take place months ahead !!! and please apart from my apologies to all directions, i am merely trying to organize a great meeting of greek members and create a war diorama, really people have i given out a different message ? Finally i cant see why the accusation of extremely rude , please explain that to me , what has this thread to do with the great tournament Gis is running here, this is about a different community get together invitation , how is that wrong ??????

Although you say the war thread is not related to the tournament, the statements made in this thread (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=6752.45) do lead it directly towards things said as a result of happenings in the tournament.
The other thing that is unfortunate is that you posted this before the end of the tournament after King Darnald has asked you to not start any hospitalities during the tournament.
Lastly, if I were you, I would try and seperate in charachter and out of charachter a bit better. That way people can more easily see that it is your charachter and not yourself that is doing the talking. Also having a king with a different name then your screen name might help a lot in this.
I know what you are doing and appreciate your efforts very much. I will now write a reply in the WAR thread as King Darnald. The requests he is making are partly in charachter but also me personally making that request so I am hoping you will/can honour them.

It is shortly after the semi finals are finished when the trumpets sound again. The people are still milling about and quickly take there places again. King Darnald comes out of the city and gets on his throne again.

Protected by the complete Chrystal Guard and Sir Cygnet, Sir Merriadoc and Crown Prince Tobias, he is flanked by Sir Bartholomew of Salish and King Leopold of Belathre as he starts to speak.
"I have requested this before and my word was not heard. So I shall request it again!"
He leaves a slightly to long silence to make sure he has everyones attention.
"Some people here have deemed this an opportune time to start a conflict. Now I am in general man of peace and think conflict should be avoided at all cost and all life should be valued. But the timing of this argument is most unfortunate."
He leaves another silence.
"People that have entered in this conflict have both expressed to be of noble and good, so I dare them to do the noble and good thing. I invite you to dine with me tonight. I will offer you all hospitatily one can expect from a king. However I do expect that you leave my castle tonight with a hand shake."
"Valthun, me trusted mage and advisor has had contact with the King of Salish which is the reason for Sir Bartholomew's presence, who will also be dining with me tonight. The King is currently investigating the possibilities of hosting a similar tournament. Depending on the report of his knight, the King might very well decide you are not welcome at his tournament."
"This will be the last I publicly speak about this. I think I have made my point and hope to receive you ar my dinner table tonight!"
"Tomorrow is an exciting day people! I am looking forward to it and wI will not let this little "thing" come between me and this wonderfull celebration of our 100th anniversary!"
With that the crown applauds loudly but also seem to be a bit ill it ease.
"One more thing my people. I know this has been somewhat unnerving announcement. To make sure you trust me when I say this will not ruin our fun, The public square will host a party tonight funded by the royal coffers."
With that the crowd really cheers, smiles can be seen and laughter heard. The king smiles at King Leopold and clasps Sir Bartholomew firmly by the hand: "Thank you for your support me friend!"
The trumpets sound again as the procession starts on it's way back to the city. Before he take a step down from the platform King Darnald throws a meaningful look at to individuals in the crowd.

I feel a bit guilty about all this buzz, the WAR!!! thread etc... I acknowledge I introduced the assassin to Sir Grangel and Baldthar. BUT, if you read the tournament thread again, it was never mentioned that anybody hired his services!
It seems though that we're going to have at least two Greek cities at war! Like the old time, folks!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
I want in! I want in! Though I haven't decided who I might support...I only own a small barony (thanks WoT for the vocabulary!), and I have to think things up and act politically. There's much more at stake when you don't own much...
Sorry I brought discord in the Tournament, sounds like my assassin was an apple to the Greek kings ;D. As an act of contrition, Sir Christopher, unless forgiven, will withdraw and not join the next tournament. (But! I will replace him with some other knight of mine!)
Maybe we could sort out all this tonight at King Darnald's dinner.

As King Iseroth has not replied and did not show up for the dinner. King Darnald is not a happy man. When more talks of war are heard the following morning, King Darnald only sees one solution.
He kindly but firmly asks King Iseroth and his followers to leave Winterhaven, not to return.

I'm very glad to hear you both sorted this out to your satisfaction.
However, I would like to take this opportunity to remind those involved in this "non-misunderstanding" that the Report to moderator button should not be used as a tool to embellish a story, as that is what seems to have happened with the "WAR" topic. :hmm:
This only causes confusion and time-wasting to the moderating team who are working very hard behind the scenes to maintain a harmonious atmosphere in the forum!

with the help of some unhappy Barons.
So he spent the night writing to his son to help correct the situation.
Should there be another feast,
If nothing more comes up,

This is like watching a weekly TV show about knights & castles ;D! Even with commercials now, thanks to Tim! I like the continuing glimpses of following episodes. The during game chatter coming from opposing teams,.........priceless!

After the magnificent tournament, the clouds of war are forming in the far and approaching quickly... King Iseroth is on the war path and on Saturday his entire army will be set and training for the upcoming war ! ;D

Let's wait till then and out of respect to Gis we should wait untill he gives us green light. After that the thread will be re-opened and WAR could start! Im sure it will be epic, but please let's just wait a bit more. :)
