Hello all
Following a suggestion by Grangel which i share, may I suggest that another Meeting takes place for the Greek members ( any others are of course welcomed to join if in Greece !!! ) I suggest wehave this meeting on a Saturday and one of us shoudl try and contact Mrs Efraimidi to see if she can come. Her answer last time was pretty final if i remember correctnluy that ordering DS from Greece is impossible as they are not linked into SAP, perhaps order from Germany, Sir Wolf as my memory banks are currently overloaded can you shred some light to what was discussed last time ?
I suggest we have this meeting on 12/2 at 11 at Playmobil Fun park at Kifisia . Plenty of time for all of us to get ready for that day .. what do you people think ?? :wave: :wave: :wave:.. Sir Wolf if you can come that would be awesome and very much good news , i can give you a lift if needed etc ( will be a fast one though , you have been warned... :lol: ) . Anyways i look forward to our next meeting and also to meet our latest Greek member of this forum ! :wave: :wave: :wave:

I am sure we can delay this meeting a bit so you can attend also Sir Wolf . And I hope Sir Alex makes it also this time . CAn you remember Pano what we wewre told about placing DS orders here ? If I can recall due to the unavailability of SAP in Greece they cant physically place any orders but i cant recall what we were told in the questions if our orders couldbe somehow forwarded to Germany etc etc. I need so many bits and pieces DS would be ideal and only fair for us Greek collectors .... :)

Will be nice to have some overseas visitors to our meeting. After the meeting and the purchasijng at the fun park that follows we can all go for some heavy calories lovely food at a place not far from playmobil known for its awesome souvlaki, steaks etc.. I am sorry I am quite hungry right now !!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
and we will be taking pictures this time I am sure !!!!

Would you believe me if I told you that I know of no collector in thessaloniki... most greek collectors are very private about what they do. They don't want to share much... I've been told about others who collect from various toys shop owners but they are not very interested in team efforts...

Yeah, I don't know of any collectors in my city either. But it just occurred to me I forgot about Celeste in New Orleans. She's only an hour away. Next closest is Baden, I think, and he's 5 hours away.

So true , will be getting my estate car next time and not the sports so plenty of space to fill it with blue boxes, last time i had my egyptian set frenzy I managed to fully load the estate car, there were two playmobil employees with supermarket trolleys brining down the boxes, some visitors and the security guard were in awe i think , hhhmm I will definitely bring the estate next time , its been a while since i bought a big order from PM Hellas .... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I have just see this thread!! Sorry for that!! I will prefer this meeting to take place at 19th of February because i have night shift on Friday(11th of February).
The point is as the online could not be done to make an exception for us to order pieces through the Playmobil Hellas as they do it for the defective boxes already.

Are you sure they replace the defective parts if you request it? Have you tried it? They write in the catalogue ''contact us if you cannot find a specific set'' but when i asked them to send me one they told me ''you will have to look for that in toy stores'' >:(

I wrote it as a German word but in my computer I can't put the two dots so I leave it that way. It is also the same meaning in German (hunter).

I totally agree with Sir Wolf, they need to get their act right and I am fed listeining to excuses about SAP , all it takes is an email and then someone who is already doing this job enter into SAP the order. Playmobil Hellas needs to get more customer oriented they cant give pathetic excuses to Sir Wolf who spents lots every year on their products that they cant sent them to Athens. If someone from Playmobil dont come to this meeting , i thnk one of us shoudl meet their CEO , i have a common business contact with him and I am sure he wont disagree to a meeting with us. I think we shoudl ask for him to be present at our meeting on the 19th not just their Marketing manager and tewll him upfront our requests. Customer Service needs to get better in Greece

Well, see the thread WAR as I sent a homing messenger pigeon to Grangel and declared war !!!!
More importantly this is more an invitation for Angelo to bring down his Klickies at Corinth and attack my castle when its complete ,set etc . It will be the biggest battle ever in playmobil history I like to think, or at least one of the biggest !!!

I expect them to come to our meeting some of us alone have spenbt considerable amounts of money in 2010. They least they can do is listen to their best customers I say ....

I have visit the funpark today with my oldest son.Great opportunities on discontinued items there.I have left the funpark with many bags and less money.Egyptians,tomb robbers 3 figures pack for 4 euros,eggs from 2005 for 2 euros
the egg with the red silver jousting knight for 4 and something.i have bought royal treasury for 10 euros and a formula 1 rally vehicle for 10 also,jousting tents for 5.

TIP FOR DISCONTINUED BUYS:
Grab a super market trolley from the store entrance go back to discontinued product baskets and throw all the upper stuff in the trolley.Now you can search carefully the bottom of the basket.I hope to load again the baskets.I have left 1 tent,may a 3 figure egyptians,1 pharaoh,1 thief leader and a royal treasury pack.I have regretted that i left a pack of elephants....next time

I will also find out when i go there hopefully tomorrow, i went out last night a bit too much to drink and eat , went to sleep at 7am this morning, not a chance to visit Playmo fun park today i am in recovery mode :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:
But I shall eb going tomorrow and reckon so will begetting myself the entire dragonland series plus more klickies for my King as the dragon/viking allegiance with all the dragon klickies purchases and the gauls ( viking light troop ) are growing fast and hopefully will turn into a formitable attacking force to the kings castle .... !!!

Angelo, Pano we need to discuss also the plan of your visit in Corinth at my playmoden perhasp sometime in May i was thinking so that we can have a full scale battle, we need to decide if its going to be a siege ( wait till you see my castle ) or an open field battle ( in that case it will have to take place after my photostories etc are completed and all steck is moved away

I keep my fingers crossed on this and actually I am quite positive . Some recent major purchases by forum members were the biggest orders they have ever seen and i thik the pressure we have applied on this might yield some good results . Lets see people .. :)

Meanwhile she confirmed to me in this email that he has passed the request to Playmobil Head Office , the request being to have Playmobil DS orders in Greece . I keep my fingers crossed on this and actually I am quite positive . Some recent major purchases by forum members were the biggest orders they have ever seen and i thik the pressure we have applied on this might yield some good results . Lets see people .. :)

That is definitely on the Agenda WoT , for future dioramas though I am a bit concerned with legal implications but we will check it out, our focus shoukd be the DS now i think , get this agreed hopefully will mean a lot to all greek collectors/ fans of playmobil , once this this done we ca talk other things, and dont get me wrong i think its a great idea but quite complicated when it comes to insurance and other aspects , we will have to check etc etc

That is definitely on the Agenda WoT , for future dioramas though I am a bit concerned with legal implications but we will check it out, our focus shoukd be the DS now i think , get this agreed hopefully will mean a lot to all greek collectors/ fans of playmobil , once this this done we ca talk other things, and dont get me wrong i think its a great idea but quite complicated when it comes to insurance and other aspects , we will have to check etc etc

You cannot image... Rumor has it that the biggest toy store chain is closing down... so they have no new sets whatsoever....and playmobil hellas are always late sending the new sets in small toy stores... :(

The time intervals are just estimates the important think is that all areas are covered , I am not leaving until the details of the last topic , WAR!!! are discussed and agreed !!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:... I will bring my Dracula or Kaizer Avatar .. With reference to WAR!!! rememebr grangel that i have the grounds and the set up ready and the original suggestion stands to bring your klickies to corinth at my playmoden and wolf comes along , i have 16m2 of covered with green cloth elevated boarded space, thast ideal for a our massive battle, my klickies after all are too many to transport and d you have that kind of space ? Lets discuss this on saturday and not here now though !!!

As already i have told before this photo belongs to a klicky that i have bought some days ago.Yesterday i have customized the figure and i have made the second one of my wizards.So be patience to meet him tomorrow.

Hello all
Our playmofriends greek meeting took place today. Giorginetto, playmo1989, Wolf Knight, Grangel, Playmojager and a friend of Playmojager ( who will be joining playmofriends and is also a big playmoo fun and collector ) were there. Mrs Effraimidi though wanted to join us couldnt make it but called and updated us that the DS think is progressing well with the German Head office, we agreed as a team at this stage to focus on that and not ask Playmobil Hellas for anything else. After some intros and various playmo talk we went shopping, I was there before anyone else ( I live less than 10min away ) and did my shopping before the meeting, 30 more balck lion knights, a red steck house , an extension for the system x red dragon castle, a special pirate , a special dragon swordman , two blisters of red / green dragonland warriors and the green and blud dragon were my purchases. Playmobil was kind enough to show us also some old stock some of us bought some bits. We agreed with grangel and Sir wolf that we wil do the WAR!!! at my playmo den and all other greek member are invited to come see my collection ( not at the same time though due to space limitations .... ) and i hope they all see my collection. We all agreed that playmobil quality seems to deteriorate and fast , a concern that we will pass officially to playmobil. we also agreed for some reason on the superiority of steck. Some great ideas for customisation on ships and klickies were discussed. We all did our shopping and with the promise to meet again we said our goodbuys .

On a personal note great to meet you all guys and aslo to welcome playmojagers friend and impressive history knowledge who without doubt has many grand ideas for customisation and displays and collection. our community has grown and we hope to continue doing so ;D ;D ;D ;D

Credit should go to all of us coming in but especially to Wolf ho travelled a great distance once again for this meeting. i really hope the next one will be in my playmoden with all my medieval set up complete and some great food afterwards after out talk/meeting/pictures. After 3 meetings and this one was the largest by far we ought to have some klickies round us outside the fun park me reckons. Another reason to harry up and set up my medieval collection!!! i think next meeting in may or something like this would be good :)

Hey guys!! Just got back myself!!! It was a reall pleasure meeting you all, old and new members!!!
I believe we set the foundations for stronger future playmo-relationships and I am certainly looking forward to more meetings and projects and especially to Giorginetto's project, in which I'll gladly participate!!!
It was great to also exchange all these ideas, info, and historical backgrounds, and how playmobil klickies and items can be customised to fit these historical backgrounds, that seemed to me as a prologue to a Wargaming effort!!!
One again thank you all for meeting up and I am looking forward to more with great anticipation!!! :) :wave:
