**Disclaimer: Posing the klickies is sometimes very hard and then getting the right angle with the camera even harder. So although things may seem to be different on the picture, the text is conclusive on what was happened.

Finally, with this match the Jousting Tournament will be officially underway.  We will see Sir Christoph face off against Sir Jaknoi of Gacim!

And here they go

Sir Christoph manages to hit Sir Jaknoi’s shield, however the impact makes Sir Jaknoi’s lance go of the intended course and he hits Sir Christoph on the head.

Sir Christoph: 1 point
Sir Jaknoi: 2 points, -1 Honor

On the next run Sir Jaknoi focuses solely on the shield and managed to get hit it. Sir Christophe on the other hand goes for the big finally and manages to get inside Sir Jaknoi’s shield. Sir Jaknoi however is able to push it down just a bit resulting in the lance hitting his horse.

In the second match we have Sir Lawrence of Cahstown going at it with Sir Moran del Zilarro.

On the first run they both get inside the shield of the other. However Sir Moran manages to push Sir Lawrence’s down enough that it hits his horse while keeping it high enough himself to clip Sir Lawrence on the leg.

Sir Lawrence: 0 points, -1 Honour
Sir Moran: 2 points

On the second run both manage to just stab at air.

Sir Lawrence: 0 points, -1 Honour
Sir Moran: 2 points

On the third run they both have their lances deflected of the others shield, resulting in the win for Sir Moran.

Sir Lawrence: 1 point, -1 Honour (PD -2)
Sir Moran: 3 points, (PD +2)

The first match of the second day will again feature Sir Christoph this time facing off against Sir Lawrence of Cahstown.  As both have lost their first match, getting a win here is essential to still have a shot at the elimination rounds.

The first pass is a pretty standard affair, both manage to hit the others shield without too much effort.

Sir Christoph: 1 point
Sir Lawrence: 1 point

In the second pass both are making a reall effort to trick the other, faints, shield placements everything is tried. However the end result is much the same as they just hit the opponents shield again.

Sir Christoph: 2 points
Sir Lawrence: 2 points

In the last pass Sir Christoph manages to get the better of Sir Lawrence. He manages to flick his shield out of the way at the last possible moment, making sure he isn’t hit on the arm, while just catching the top corner of Sir Lawrence’s shield.

Sir Christoph: 3 points (+1 PD)
Sir Lawrence: 2 points (-1 PD)

The following match has Sir Jaknoi of Gacim go head to toe with Sir Moran del Zilarro.

Both knights are very focused on making sure they hit something only bringing their shield up at the last moment. This results in both knights hitting each other in the head.

Sir Jaknoi: 2 points, -1 honour
Sir Moran: 2 points, -1 honour

Sir Moran is surprised as Sir Jaknoi twists his shield at the last moment and he drops his shield just a bit. However that is just enough to bounce Sir Jaknoi’s lance straight against his helmet again. Dizzy Sir Moran lowers his lance and hits the horse on the backend.

Sir Jaknoi: 4 points, -2 honour (+2 PD)
Sir Moran : 2 points, -2 honour (-2 PD)

After the second day we have the following standing in Group A:

1) Sir Jaknoi: 2 wins, -3 honour, +3 PD
2) Sir Christoph: 1 win, -1 honour, 0 PD
3) Sir Moran: 1 win, -2 honour, 0 PD
4) Sir Lawrence: 0 wins, -1 honour, -3 PD

This means that Sir Jaknoi is already qualified for the elimination rounds and Sir Lawrence is already without a chance. Sir Christophe and Sir Moran will duke it out for a place in the top 16.

And here we have it, this match between Sir Christoph and Sir Moran decides who goes home and who fights on.

Sir Moran clearly is the more aggressive of the two combatants and manages to maneuver his lance just over the top of Sir Christoph’s, resulting in a hit on his body while he only gets hit on his shield.

Sir Christoph: 1 point
Sir Moran: 2 points

Sir Moran’s confidence however is his downfall as Sir Christophe manages to lift him cleanly out of the saddle, securing him a place in the elimination rounds.

Sir Christoph:  4 points, +1 honour (+2 PD)
Sir Moran: 2 points (-2 PD)

The next match sees a slightly dejected Sir Lawrence fight against Sir Jaknoi who is clearly enjoying himself. Rumours have it he really wants to make this a good fight.

Already on the first pass Sir Jaknoi manages to get inside Sir Lawrence’s shield, however he is able to push the lance down enough to make it hit the horse. This effort cost him his own hit though and he misses.

Sir Jaknoi: 0 points, -1 honour
Sir Lawrence: 0 points

On the second run Sir Jaknoi once again goes in rather low with his lance. Just before impact he whips his shield up enough to go over the top getting a hit full on Sir Lawrences body, who once again misses due to his opponents controversial strategies.

Sir Jaknoi: 2 points, -1 honour
Sir Lawrence: 0 points

Slightly unnerved by the previous two runs Sir Lawrence focuses solely on defense. Sir Jaknoi comes on, moving his lance from left to right and up and down. Sir Lawrence manages to get his shield out of the way at the last moment, once again sacrificing his own attack.

Sir Jaknoi: 2 points, -1 honour
Sir Lawrence: 0 points

Realizing he will not win this way, Sir Lawrence changes his attention to his attack this round.  As his lance is about to hit Sir Jaknoi on the shield, Sir Jaknoi thrusts his lance forward hitting him full in the belly and lifting him from the saddle. His lance uncontrollably misses it’s mark and he ends up sitting on the ground moments later.

Sir Jaknoi: 5 points (+5 PD)
Sir Lawrence: 0 points (-5 PD)
