Hi

I came across a sale of a Pirate ship 0104 and it is listed as an "Absolutely Rare" set in the 2nd edition of the bible page 405. funny how the box has a "GUARANTEED FUN OR YOUR MONEY BACK" and even elaborates that if your kid doesn't have fun with it in 30 days, you can send the ship with the box back to Playmobil (USA?) in Minnesota and receive a full refund!

I have the second generation of this mould with the cooler sails and non-white fighting tops/crows nest.  But this one would be neat to have just for vintage collecting sakes.  I can't imagine spending that much though.  I do like the flags that come with it, though, including the union jack.

this is not made by playmobil (geobra) it's made in the us probably mattel, shaper  :hmm: :hmm: but it's a good piece to have ,i'am searching for a msib 3550 though almost a halph year now , hasn't appeard any on ebay  :( :( :( :(

Yes in the 2nd edition of the bible it is listed as a 1980's Schaper Super Deluxe Pirate Ship

The ship in that listing is indeed worth a lot among collectors, if it comes in mint condition or MI(S)B.
This one however is in bad condition; several pieces are missing (f.e. very obviously the 2nd cannon) and one of the masts is replaced by something selfmade or so, it has a totally different colour then the other original mast...
