Title: Why are most of the pirate captains wearing RED??

We have too many captains in the playmobil world, and too many red captains as well. I appreciate the older captains, who wear orange, purple and other cooler colour. It is true red is a colour to cause fear in enemies' eyes, but I am tired of red captains. Just my opinion, hope people who like red captains dont get mad :wave:

For the sartorially inclined pirate captain, red has the advantage of not showing the blood stains!   ;D

If you keep buying the pirate ships then you get only one captain and the rest of the crew being common pirates.

I did an inventory of all my pirates.  HALF of them are captains!  I have way more captains (and even first mates if you deem them so) than I do ships, and it looks rather funny to have several captains walking about the same ship.  All the captains are neat though, and I hate to de-mote any of them to help swell my common pirate ranks.

So I just rotate my captains, or keep them for stand-alone display as it is impractical to keep them aboard the ship with so many other captains.

Luckily my local playmo store carries plenty of add-on packs, including some of the more recent 3-pack common pirates.  Also the 4292 (my fav set) has lots of common pirates in it.  :)

Speaking of red, I wish I could get my hands on that elusive red longcoat.

Are you talking about the one coming with the DVD? I have one extra, for trade on PF, but no one interested at all :'(. I have no plan putting it on ebay, do you want to trade with me?
