Hi Everybody,
i wanted to show you how i store my collection. I found these wooden boxes and did some woodwork for the inside to fit in the Playmos ( with weapons / parts ;) ). The best thing is that you can stack the boxes and they look nice. i like wood.

They look great Skywalker. Aren't they very expensive though or havent you stored your entire collection like that?
-
Hi Gis,
the big boxes are about 18€ ( it holds a complete castle + figures + parts ) the small ones are about 8€ plus some extra wood for the inside. We were looking for some storage for our son and these boxes are great. i mean you have to have some place to put the stuff in ;)
-
That looks a very impressive method of storage. Do they come with lids too?
-
@playmofire: the boxes are just boxes. i did the lids and "second floor" by myself.

Ah, thanks - neat work.

:wave: That is a handsome display, Skywalker! I love the wood too, very clever and very classy.

Very organized! Kudos! ;) I wish my collection was that well-stored.

Fantastic!!! Very nice boxes!!

Excellent! The price is probably not much more than plastic and the wood looks a lot nicer, will last longer and is a lot more durable and in the long run will hold its value.
Now you've got ideas running through my head (and I'm thinking of fine tooth blades for my table saw and my cut-off saw). I'm also thinking of the jigs I could make so it would be super easy and quick to keep producing them.

@Wesley

That's so cool! A table saw that actually is small enough to fit on a table! Here, when we say table saw, we mean a saw (like that) but it is big enough to be a table all by itself (for construction work). Yes, we use them for small intricate work too, but this seems like a very neat concept. I've never seen one like that in Western Canada (but I've never looked for something as small as that).

Clan, orderly, collected.
Not my style (which is to stuff “rooms” of wherever goes in that space into a box, hen pray my kids don’t scatter it about). Hmm…. Maybe I should consider it…
