You can use Photobucket for posting pics.
You upload your pics there, resize them and edit them all you want, then copy the link and paste the link in the post. Super easy and you can show better images like that.

Is this a photo you've scanned in?  It looks as if it might be and you haven't limited what is scanned to the photo itself.

No I did not scanned it, first I shoot and then I transfer the photo in my computer. The photo's kb are about 200 so I have to minimize to 100 kb. That's why I am cutting around the icon to lower the kb.

Looking good.

Do you know if the flags shown for the French are historical?  I have been wondering about that myself with the ones I have, but have been too lazy to research them.   :-[

No, they're not. Not really at least.
They are close though. :)

Maybe I should send Christo a playmobil flag to replace that?

I have the impression that the central flag of the ship is from Lego, it was with some Playmobils I bought from ebay. But it fits very well.  Is this wrong? Am I a traitor?

I'm afraid its burning at the stake for you... or the gallows if you prefer...  ;D

Well, I do have these lego sets, I used to have good time with them as a kid, not a great one as playing with playmobil of course, but it still was a good time!

If you don't have any playmobil flag to replace it, I'll post a picture of my spare playmobil flags and you can choose any of them.  ;)

I am not so good with technology, specially with all this stuff (photobucket etc.). In fact, I have no idea how to do this, even if you describe how.

I still have these sets, too, the legoland pirates. They're somewhere in the attic.

I think Im safe!

Other thing I noticed today when I went to the toy store is that it is AMAZING the presence of Lego in Argentina. Unfortunately it is a lot stronger. I would risk to say it is 10 to 1 against PM.
There was a wholw wall covered in Lego and a short rack for Pm..... upsetting.  :(
On the bright side.... if there were as many Playmo I would be crying becuase I wouldn't be able to buy all .... so.... maybe this IS ok!

Well, the playmo aisle in our TRU store is not that much smaller than the lego aisle, but it does not by any means represent the popularity contrast between the two. Wow that was wordy.  :P I mean, there's nobody on the playmobil aisle, unless they're just passing through.

Something I've noticed when I am in the store looking at playmo, and this would be good feedback for playmobil to hear, is that  people say things to each other that indicate that at a glance they are thinking they are preschool toys. maybe the boxes are looking too much like little kid toys. So they are passing them up thinking their kids are too old for that.

Maybe we are getting off topic here  :-\ , but I'll just say this for Greece: Playmobil and lego are equaly strong here.

Lego sets are more expensive though, especially the ones associated with movies and star wars  :o (250 euros for a Galactic Cruiser)... Its seems that lego might sell more, but this is not the case. Since they cost more, they also cost more to the shop, so most shops are not keeping as much a big lego stock as playmobil stock. And it is a fact that in each toy store you'll find two corridors of playmobil and one of lego.

That said, I'll go back to our original topic and ask Giorgo which flag he wants me to send him. Please choose from the pic Giorgo:

Here, Lego is about the same - 10 to 1 of Lego to Playmobil.  Everyone here knows of Lego but you may be surprised to know the number of people who have NEVER heard of Playmobil.

Don't worry Wolf Knight, it's a very nice conversation,
it is true that here in Greece Playmobil is much more preffered than Lego.

Sorry.
BTW.... Christos port is one set or two? can you tell me the numbers?  :)

Its two sets. 3288 - Pirate's Prison (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3288) or 7376 - Prison Fortress (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=7376) and 5775 - Pirates' Attack (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=5775)
