Title: The newest editions to Playmobil City International Airport Fire Department.
Post by: Bill Blackhurst on December 05, 2010, 03:52:51
Welcome everyone to the newest editions to the Playmobil City International Airport Fire Department apparatus line up.
Thanks to a very good Playmofriend & fellow collector (Gordon), that without his help I would never have been able to complete these last few customization projects, & if it hadn't been for this fantastic person, & all of his long term assistance, this dream would never have come true! The newest editions are 3526 series Fire Engines numbers 28, 29, 30, Two custom Super Heavy Duty Water Tankers T1, & T2. In addition to these newest editions are 2x3525 Ladder Trucks Numbers L1 & L2. The 2 Super Heavy Duty Water Tankers are customised with a front remote mechanical water pipe for refilling fire engines during pumping assignments when their on board water tanks are depleted. They're also outfitted with a high volume tanker to tanker remote water dispensing pipe on the top of each tanker to refill each other if needed. I hope you enjoy these original & custom projects.

Excellent and wonderfully thought out and detailed customs, Bill, as always.  The ingenuity of your ideas and designs, quality of workmanship and attention to detail are second to none.  And thank you for your kind words on my small and purely routine part in contributing to your customs - they are much appreciated.

Thank you Gordon & Panos, for your positive support of this project & especially you Gordon, for all of your assistance :thanks:!
As in all of my past 3526 fire engine customization projects, all of these fire vehicles can be converted into their original OEM status if the parts become available again in the future

these are incredible, the details and the quality of your customs makes it difficult to see where playmobil ends and bill begins.  i need to keep checking the original set photos to compare the differences.

Thank you, Gis :thanks:! It will be awhile before the I start doing photo stories with these new additions due to the holidays, schedules, etc. I have nearly everything including the 3 airport versions, 6 medium size jets, support vehicles, etc., but wishing for several of the large cargo jets :crossed:, so Spring may be when I start the outdoor photo shoot due to size of this venture!

You mean help with setting up and photography? Or are there still items and parts that you need?
To which large cargo jets are you refering Bill? I think there is a used playmobil jet at the toy warehouse I buy from some times, but cannot remember its condition. I'll have a look tomorrow  ;) !

I'm looking for several of the 4310 jumbo jets in the future, Panos, but I would really like to find someone that lives close to me with the same interests to set up & do the photo stories!

Ah right! The one I saw is a 3185 I think... it was white and yellow...
I really hope one of the playmofriends living close to you, or a neighbour or friend who enjoys playmobil, can help you!
All the best with this project Bill!!
