Title: Fantasy Unicorn Theme - New for 2006 in USA!!

I hadn't even heard about this (did a search on the board and couldnt find it), but my sources tell me that in April 2006 there will be 3 new pieces released from Playmobil USA........the Fantasy Theme.

#5756 Unicorn Fantasy Land MSRP $29.99 (Included Carraiage, Unicorn, King, Queen, Fairy Godmother, Witch, Magical Mini Palace and lots of accessories)

#5762 Magical Forest MSRP $9.99  (Includes 2 unicorns, Magical Fairy, Trees, Bunnies, Owl, and more)

#5761 Unicorn Price and Princess  MSRP $6.99 (Includes Rose covered Trelis, Unicorn, Price and Princess).

Just thought I'd be the first to share the news;)

I have pics if someone can help me upload them!

Thanks for the pics. I find the carriage quite appealing as well as the blue hoop skirt. The overall look appears to be very pinkish but then again it is for girls so.... I wonder why a knight in armour comes in a carriage instead of an impressive stallion.

Hey Ben,

Thanks for the pix. These sets were available towards the end of last year as Target exclusives. I wonder if they did so well that Playmobil will now be releasing them to wider distribution? That would be a good sign for the future of the Fantasy/Magic theme!

I do see them on Target's website....... I see the #5756 and 61/62 in a bundle.  Interesting!

Yup, I have all these sets from Target. Got them because some of the old fantasy sets have gotten ridiculously expensive on ebay.

I have news: 5756 is temporarily available (if you're lucky) at a dutch store chain (Blokker, for household, decorating and toys) as part of the so-called "ducats-action":
this set costs €22,95 with 3 "ducats"(vouchers that you get with every €5 worth of purchase). The first batch was completely sold out, but they managed to order a second batch. They advised to make a reservation if you wanted one...

DARN IT
It bugs me when Playmobil USA releases Target exclusives only to let them go to other toystores 6 - 8 months after their inital release.
I want to support my indie toy stores, but feel that I must purchase the Target Exclusives that I am interested because they are TARGET EXCLUSIVES.

Actually, there's 2 unicorns available right now from Playmobil USA....... the 7783 Pink Unicorn & the old white 7229 is still on the Price list too.
