Just joined Playmofriends!  Thanks for having me!   

I've just started out making stop-motion films with Playmobil, which I loved as a kid.  I just made one called "The Fountain of Youth."  It is a medieval adventure (running time is 38 minutes).  Hope you like it! 

I have a website called www.capuchinfilms.com

Use the drop-down menu to "Select a stop-motion film."

WARNING: "The Fountain of Youth" contains some mild Playmobil violence, so it may not be appropriate for young children.  There are scenes of Playmobil soldiers being hit with arrows, cannonballs, eaten by sea serpents, being decapitated, etc. 

WARNING: The live-action film on this website is not appropriate for children.

I would LOVE to see your movies, medieval is one of my favourite themes!  :D However, nothing happens when I pick "The fountain of youth". What program do you use? Possible to download the movie?

I had the same problem when trying to view the film using my main web browser (Mozilla Firefox), but when I switched to Internet Explorer, it worked straight away. :)

Wow!  I'm blown away by 'The Fountain of Youth'... it made me laugh out loud (had to explain what it was I was watching to other people, I made THAT much noise :D)  This must have taken forever to make.. I'm awed! :D

Thanks for all your kind words!  The movie took six months to make, but it was a lot of fun and I had a good excuse for buying (and finding on EBay) some great Playmobil sets.  The two Playmobil minstrels are older than I am!   

Sorry about the technical problems!   :-[  We are working on fixing that Mozilla/Firefox issue.  I'm definitely not trying to push Internet Explorer on people.  We should have that fixed soon. 

If you find that the movie does not play, you can also download it to your hard drive by right-clicking on the film title from "The Vault," at http://www.capuchinfilms.com/vault.cfm

Welcome from Germany, Paul. The Fountain of youth is most impressive and the running time is awesome. I have never seen a movie that long. Six months you say - I thought it would be more.  8-) Great to have you here.

I've seen the movie now, very good and funny  ;D

In a clever way you use many parts that are not playmobil, I like that.
