I had a little time today to try and match the 3268 castle with part of my new 4866... This is mainly a system-x attemp just to see how the two castles could fit together.... So far this is small example of the compatability... see attachment
Have not done much really but I do plan on a bit more later... Only problem, for me at least, the low walls.... its also getting too square for my taste...I'll try to change that...

From your picture, Panos, it looks like the castles do indeed snap together. Are the walls different heights? Another concern is that the stone pattern is different.

Yes the stone patterns are different and the result is not a thrilling one... the walls are the same hight but, they should have been a bit more than single piece hight, as they dont look too good next to a very tall tower...

It certainly isn't an exciting or an authentic shape - no fault of yours Panos.
As castles were built over many years, maybe the different stone patterns aren't a problem, except, maybe, aesthetically.

That is why a section of the wall on my castle is dark stone,
and the other walls are all light stone. :)
Normally that would bother me a lot,
But because castles were built over different periods of time, it doesn't bother me. :)
The castles look really cool together Wolf Knight...
But it is a little wide. :P
Not your fault.
I would like to see what else can be done. :yup:

That would be generaly true warrior! Different colour and different pattern can indicate different periods of time!!! :)9
So, I'll try to get to it and show you more!!

Again correct Gordon!!
I'll try to reshape the pattern and include the angled wall sections for variety!

You know what the biggest problem is? I don't have a space at home where I can set a decent table for setting up and playing.... I have to do everything on the floor.... once I move around a couple of furniture...and lots of playmobil boxes... :( :( :(

I use the Playmobil boxes as "tables." :P
For the longest time I had my computer on a Playmobil box,
Because my desk had been taken over by Playmboil! >:D
