Title: 5920 and 5921 at Costco Canada
Post by: irnm2001 on October 03, 2010, 02:18:19: Every year Costco gets 2 Playmobil sets. Last year they were a Pirate set and a Knight set that I had. This year, brand new sets neve seen before (at least in Canada) both priced at $49.99 and both are animal related. The first, 5920 is the one with marine animals (we've talked about it before) aboat and the seaplane. It was first seen in Greece. I couldnt resist and I got me one of them. The second is 5921 the baby animal Zoo. Also very interesting but I don't think I will be getting it.

I was affraid we would get the ugly fire set as described by Rona but it seems the Gods have decided to spare Canada

Here (in Saskatoon) we had a fire set and a smaller pony ranch set (with brown walls and dark blue roof).

Firefighter stuff is not my thing (knights and pirates) nor my daughters'.

The police sets did not sell and were still stocked on the pallet well after Christmas until they were removed and sent to a local auction house (PBR Auctions - where all the local Costco merchandise is sent when the rag it out - I am sure there is an auction house in ever city where there is a Costco that gets the old merchandise to dispose of, so everyone should find that and then pick up the sets for half to a third of the price (or less) when they do a change-over).

It is the same as the 4445, just different colours.
