non listed color set ?

Exclusive or given at a fun park? These types of horse coats came out in 1993. Colour sets production was stopped at that time...

Some color sets were made more recently (2001, 2004 and 2008 for the one listed in the 3rd edition Collector Book). They were designed for shops making animations as birthday parties, in order to keep children busy.

Other possibility would be part 30 64 5410 with no sticker or ink marking removed

Seems to be this one with colour taken off: 30 64 5410 - Horse coat, long, scalloped hem (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-64-5410)

Yes there was a color one but it was the older pleated type.  It's coming from Germany so there's a chance it's one of those later color sets or maybe just an unpainted white one from off an assembly line somewhere. Of course paint taken off or repainted are the most probable.

The seller has more of those... About 10 or so...Why would he get into trouble of collouring them off??? And as far as I know form the pages of Collector, te later colour sets did not have any caparison like that....I'll ask him....

That's why i spoke about an non-listed color-set, perhaps one from 2010. The theory that these parts come directly from production line is also possible.

Well, as I understood it, he made a mold of the original and used some kind of plastic to reproduce it! So in this manner, yes it is a copy!

if he is directly reproducing the part without any significant changes then it's a copyright infringement.

Its easy to make a copy if the item depending on skill and material. Lots of german webpages/forums realted to playmobil to find out... Question is how legal and ethical it is to make a profit out of this...
