I've been working on some Western buildings lately and had the idea to do Austrailian cowboys as well. Starting with ....... Did you guess it's Ned Kelly! Well I hope you all thought it looked like was him.
I've done him, his partner in crime, a Cobb & Co stagecoach and a sheep ranch.

Dear me, Damo, you didn't know Australia's most famous outlaw. :(

Two excellent customs, Emma. I especially like the long coats.

Gorgeous customs. i love 'em! ;D
-
I knew right away who it was, the helmet really gives it the look
-
I had no clue either. Although he does look more like a movie charachter then a real life one IMO.
Once again very good and detailed work!
-
I had forgotten all about this!!! Great job Emma!!! Well done!!! Have to see the movie again one of these days!
-
Great job Emma!
But after looking at reference pics on the internet,
I have only One critique.
Perhaps he would look better with the coat over his armor as opposed to under.
If that is possible. :)
Still it looks stunning! :o
Great job!
And his partner looks magnificent too! :wow:

Well I could have put his coat over the top I didn't really think of it simply because with the the coat on top you'd not see much of the armor just a small bit down the middle and then he'd just end up looking like a guy with a bucket on his head! :o
None of these figures are 100% accurate think of them more as a caricature of the person. I just did them as a bit of fun none of these guys are supposed to be spot on, I haven't the talent or the patience to spend hours on them :'(

Great custom, your Ned Kelly!
I had forgotten this outlaw's name (do they say outlaw in Australia too, or is that US Wild West terminology?), but recognised your custom as an Australian bandit. (think I saw some documentary about him once on Nat Geo)

It is indeed outlaw in Australia, too.

Wow! 8-)
I recognised Ned immediately! (As I'm sure any true blue Aussie would. ;))
The custom is top notch! :wow:

Ditto! I'm not blond and not Australian, but often mistaken for an Aussie by Americans.
Excellent Ned Kelly custom. I'm going to postdict someone's going to shoot him in the legs.

It’s NOT actually Ned KELLY. It’s the Yahoo SERIOUS movie version.

I beg to differ. I think you have great talent. Whenever I see a post from you, it's the first thing I look at. These are more examples of your superb customizing skills. :wow: :wow: :wow:

Which movie? I was surprised to see the other day that Mick Jagger played him in a film! With those lips I'm surprised he didn't get stuck in the bucket.
