Nice customs Cheng. I really like your hats (cardboard?). What are/were bannermen? Aren't they supposed to carry banners, as their name suggests? Can you give me an historical/military explanation?
Thanx.

thanks everyone!
.... I really like your hats (cardboard?). PVC sheets....I dont use paper or cardboard because its easier to wash our playmos in water ;)
What are/were bannermen? Aren't they supposed to carry banners, as their name suggests? Can you give me an historical/military explanation? the Manchu(s) Qing Dynasty organised their army under 8 banners...for some reason, western historians referred to them as bannermen although unlike the samurai armies, most of these soldiers did not have to carry banners
Thanx.
