Hi guys.
It's time for a new thread! Yeahhhhhh! I am not forgetting about my other thread "making new parts with resin" but sculpting and taking pictures takes some time that I currently lack.
So here are my Romans. They're mostly customised with vinyl stickers. The designs were made with Photoshop as usual.

Hi Richard! Thanks for your comments. I'm glad you loved those. There is no thread about how to create designs with Photoshop. You need to learn (I took one three hour lesson, really necessary) and experiment (took me several months). What I think is essential is to have a pen tablet, because you'll need to draw lots of your designs and it's nearly impossible with a mouse. Then always remember a few things like: work with CMYB colour 300 dpi settings, and it's always better to draw a big design and to shrink it later to fit upon a small part (like a shield) than to enlarge a tiny one.
You'll need many trials for shapes, colours and sizes, but you'll manage!
I buy the vinyl in A4 sheets, fifty at a time, from a French shop, specialised in papers for printers, don't know if they would ship outside France. They're less than 2€ apiece. You waste a lot in the early stages, though. I think there's an on line shop for the US market called Papilio.
That's pretty much it. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
Cheers,
Arnaud

Thank you very much, Arnaud!
I have already found the website for Papilio (http://www.papilio.com/) and I'm really excited about giving it a try!
Thanks again and all the best,

OK guys.
Thanks for your comments. I really appreciate that. Here we go for the Greeks. As you all know I'm sure, there are no Greek helmets so I used mostly Romans, but I'm working on a Spartan helmet as well as a more classical one, more like Athena's.
Let's go!

I especially like your idea of using the non-Roman helmet you have there,
It is very Greek looking. I think I used it for one of my Greeks too. :)

Wonderful customs and designs! Quite superb.
Do you use a laser or an inkjet printer, please? Ah, just looked at the web link - inkjet, I guess.

Wow, great work, Arnaud!
Also thanks for posting (and Richard for asking!) about the technical details of how you created your designs. I have somes designs and now I have some idea of how to proceed in actually making them - thanks!
