I bought this klicky on a japanese flea market (Tohji Temple, Kyoto) this summer and I would like to know from which set this black vest is coming (I allready know it in green, red, white and pink but not black).

I have not seen this before! Maybe its from an exclusive set of from a set produced by a company under license....
I'll have a (long) look at the collector...

I don't know which set that part is from but I also have one in black.
It's on a keychain figure which I purchased from the US several years ago. I assume this is an official one of some kind because it has the Playmobil logo printed on the back. Of course, the vest could have come from another figure but it does look like it matches the bowler hat worn by the figure. I'd love to know the origin of this keychain because it's quite unusual.

Sylvia, your keychain puts me in mind of the Robinson's Jam Gollywog logo, but I think that's probably a blind alley for research.

Cool, do they have a lot of playmobil in the flea market?? I have a question. I know they have vintage playmobil sold in Tokyo, so what about Osaka? I would like to have learnt of this before my next trip to Japan~~!!

Is it a vest for a horse rider?

No idea about Osaka...
According to what i saw, playmobil is less and less represented in shops in Japan, big stores like Bic Camera, Yodobashi Camera or Toy's R Us have no more playmo or so few it is a pitty.
Huge japanese Department stores like Odakyu, Keïo, Isetan or Seibu don't sella any.
Regarding shop for collectors and second hand boxes, just have a look at www.playmoland.com : a dedicated shop near Shimokitazawa station (Tokyo)

I went there last year, it is actually quite hard to find as the maps in Japan dont have the North at the 12 o'clock direction. They dont have many exciting stuffs, but still enough to calm us in Asia. ANd given the level of Japanese Yen, I guess it might not be wise to shop there.
Do you mind if I ask, are you from Japan? Do you have access to the yahoo auction site there? It would be lovely if we playmofriends could build contacts in Japan~~!!! What kind of specials do they still carry in playmoland?? Would love to get some older ones if it is convenient~~!!

They have all specials as they have plenty of Karstadt Kids Menu exclusive boxes... as decoration of the shop. Older ones they sell are American Football Player and American Fireman.
To be honest I didn't by a thing in this shop, but I did by plenty in Mandarake Akihabara (E.T. basis, viking battering ram, first smile stackable figure).
Unfortunatly, I am not so often in Japan but I have some contacts in the country. Regarding local auction websites, some japanese people work as intermediates for US or Europe would-like-to-be-bidders : they do the bidding for you, pay the amount to seller, and resend goods to given address and they are taking a minimum 10% fee on auction final price => Total amount is : Auction Final Price + Fee + Shipping cost within Japan + Shipping cost abroad Japan + Bank fee (+ Paypal fee if you pay the intermediate by Paypal)
-
Yeah, would love to break into the store and get the WALL OF SPECIALS >:D >:D
Wow, that is quite a service!! Which service provider do you use and is the shipping steep??? :P

I don't personnaly know any intermediate. I know the existence of surch persons by a friend of mine who used to buy plenty of japanese animation figures and rare items that way. I can ask this friend if he is still in contact. Other solution is to buy something to japanese seller on ebay and try to transform him as an intermediate for yahoo auctions or sekaimon.
