Great videos, Michael. Thanks for sharing them with us.

As our garden is not very straight i need to have two locs to pull the coaches to get accross on each train
The box on the left is to stop the trains and to handle the switches
Lights in houses also get their power there
the box on the right is the power supply
The original playmo powersupply gives 1 amp by 18 volt , means 18VA ( check your power supply)
That was way to low , so I builded something myself
As you can see I have several Locs to feed
Building myself a powersupply got me 20 amp spread over 7 regulators with a maximum from 35 volt
This means the trains drive a lot faster and have more power
I reccomand not to pass 24 Volt with playmotrains if you build yourself a power supply

WOW amazing set up and video's Michael! (I was rocking out on video number two...great music)
Thanks for explaining all your impressive operating gear.

On the video "Zugfahrt 04", there's a yellow diesel locomotive that goes in front of a 4300 train station which has a couple raised 7400 platforms around it, it goes around a loop then it then comes back in front of station again at time 24 seconds. Is this a reversing loop you have here, or did I miss a second set of tracks?
Great layout! by the way.

Love your Garden Railroad, Michael!
Who is the person in the videos?
Thank you very much for sharing even more of your wonderful collection with us.
All the best,
Richard

Hi Michael
Running your trains at double the volts do they tend to heat up at all and how well do the motors & brushes hold up to the extra power ?

I made that power supply 10/15 years ago I never had problems
as I mentioned before I try not to go above 24V
@ Knight train : no reversing loop , I have 4 separate tracks
@Richard : the person in the video is my father in law

thank you for sharing your videos. i can only imagine how much time it takes to set up the track and level it on a garden surface, only to have to take it down to mow the lawn. after watching your trains i wandered over to your website and enjoyed more of your event photos there. thanks again. kaethe

Thanks for the info, Michael.
I was wondering if I had misjudged your age, as I had always thought that you were a bit younger than the man in the video ...
