Hi there ,
My name is Michael turn 40 this year ;) but don't feel strange to still stick to my all time favourite toy. Some of you know me as mursiman on Playmoboard but I always found this name pretty stupid why decided to change it to a name that was inspired by Sylvia (by chance she happens to be a moderator of this board if I am not completely wrong ;)). Actually it was Brian aka Corkscrew who draw my attention to this great site.
Funnily I am not a kid of the first hour since I discovered Playmobil in 1975 only and missed all those blister packages. Hm - my first Klicky was the nurse so it must have been 1976. No wait - it was 1975 when I discovered it but I bought my first Klicky in 1976.
I have limited my collection to the Medieval theme (like most of us). In addition I collect carriages, started working on a "home-made" Rennaissance theme and will surely add the great Romans. Actually there aren't many themes I don't like but I prefer to stay away from anything not historical.
Well - see you all later.
Michael

Hello and welcome from Washington State USA. Did I know you in another life?
Now let me guess - where did we meet? Was it at the wedding between Henri de Navarre and Marguerite de Vallois in 1575? Or did we share a dance at the wedding banquet of Mary Stuart and Francois? I am sure I would remember. Now I got it - it was at Elizabeth's coronation in 1558 - that's it. How have you been in the meantime?

Welcome Michael, from the Eastern USA!
There are quite a few of us in the late 30s to early 40s age range - it seems that is a common age for playmo-addicts! :)

Socrates - you are obviously from Lübeck? Indeed a lovely city with some real nice Medieval buildings. My favorite book is about a merchant family from the 19th century. "Dominus providebit". You may have read the book, too. ;)

Thank you Sylvi-San for giving me face. ;)
