One day on a sunny afternoon, the Father, the Mother, and their son had just come back from the grocery store and got a amazing suprise. The house was on fire! They started to panic because their daughter and their baby we inside. The Father quickly called the fire station. Then they also noticed that their dog was inside also. From down the road you could already hear the sirens of the fire trucks coming.
-
Here are some pics of the fire trucks coming.
Oh...Bill also came with me and Gordon.
-
Here's one other pic of two fire men riding in the ladder truck basket.
-
When we arrived to the scene, two firefighters tried to calm down the parents.
-
Then another firefighter operated the ladder to reach the right window for the rescue.
-
Then our chief told Me, Bill, Robert, and Jim to go inside the house and look for the children. So then two other fire men put up a ladder for us to go inside.
-
While we were donig that Gordon was taking some things out of Car 1.
-
Then the four men were inside looking for the children.
-
Then all the men outside were waiting for the brave men to come out.
-
Inside the house was very dark of course, because of all the smoke. So we had to look in every room very carefully.
(Sorry the pictures are dark hope you all can see them).
-
Until we reached the last floor our faces changed. We have found the children!
-
Then we took them down the ladder safely to their parents.
-
The family was back together.....
-
.....thanks to the firefighters!
The End!
Hope you enjoy!

That was a very exciting rescue, Baden !!!
Great photos. The dark photos realistically showed how difficult it can be to find anyone in a smoked filled house.
Thanks for sharing.
All the best,
Richard

Great story and pcitures, Baden, and thanks for taking me along.
The fire strikes me as possibly suspicious with smoke from so many different areas of the building when the brigade arrived. Alternatively, the children had been fooling about with matches or candles. (I have concerns whether the two children were old enough to have been left alone without supervision. In the UK, children unde 14 can't be left alone with supervision by someone older.)
But the dog? What happened to the dog? ???

This is excellent Baden
And I love your idea of including Sylvia's and Gordon's avatar to your story

I think the blue upturned flowerput next to the front door is a clue! I smell a rat!
Great story baden!

Thank you Gordon very much. I'm glad you liked it.
The girl is soppose to be 13, so shes so of old enough to be left at home alone with here sister. But like you said she was playing with fire. How?.....Well she was trying to cook something,(the kitchen is on the first floor). So from there she had done a mistake and there had caught on fire from the bottom to the top. The dog was also rescued its just that I didn't show it.
