Hi !

I am the new one here in this forum..., but a longterm member in Klickywelt and customize it


My real name is Rainer and I am living in Germany, next to the city of Dusseldorf at the river Rhine.

My favourite playmobil is everything related to the trains.
I have a huge collections of locomotives, cars, not only Playmo, also some from LGB or Piko.

Also here in Dusseldorf it´s lovely warm, at the moment 32°C......but we have no water around us....

I have visited Düsseldorf many years ago because one of my cousins was living there.

What I wouldn't give for some heat and sunshine right now! You are very lucky.

Here it is 13°C, cloudy and raining. And it has been like this for weeks already with only the occasional mild day in between. :'(

Hi Rainer - and welcome from sunny Victoria on Vancouver Island (British Columbia)!  We haven't been having the best summer (so far) but certainly not as bad as Sylvia's!

I think we'd all like to see some photos of your trains - do you have a large layout? (It'd have to be large, wouldn't it?!? ha)

That would be lovely, but I've checked the flight prices and they are very costly, even later in the year in the Autumn months. (I also know that I have to fly to San Juan and change planes. ;D)

Plus I wouldn't want to go unless I could bring my husband and the younger kids too since they all deserve a holiday.  More expense. 8}

The Rhine is not gone, but I prefer the sea....

At the moment(Sunday 11:30) it´s really cold here: only 22 °C and lots of clouds, now the typical german summer......

Most Germans says Holland to the whole Netherlands.....

But as you know, but surely not all other here, this is a limitation.
The Netherlands consists of 12 provinces,

Utrecht, Nord- und Südholland ii the west,
Zeeland, Nord-Brabant und Limburg in the south,
Flevoland, Gelderland und Overijssel in the east
and Drenthe, Groningen und Fryslân (Friesland) in the north of the country.

Actually I was born in North Holland but now live in Utrecht (Hence my greetings were from The Netherlands :-))
