Title: My new knight
Post by: flatcat on July 14, 2010, 17:51:14
Hello

Let me introduce to you my new knight, Ian :)

Here he is playing with his castle:

And here he is standing next to Bob:

(http://a.imageshack.us/img693/5299/200911250001.jpg) (http://img693.imageshack.us/i/200911250001.jpg/)

Bob is 5ft tall, and Ian is 2ft tall.

Also, unlike Bob, Ian is made of the usual strong high quality plastic and is fully moveable just like a real Klicky as he has a scaled up chassis and so can do everything that a normal one can do unlike poor Bob who is of very flimsy construction and unable to move.

And whatsmore I have another one coming - not another knight but a construction worker!

Damo :)

He's a great knight Damo. you are lucky! - Is your construction worker like Bob?
I actually met my first giant klicky today.  I called at our local farm park where they have a toy shop, to leave some posters and flyers for the exhibition. It has been extended since I last visited and had loads of great Playmo sets, and outside was a giant Pirate klicky.  I got very excited about meeting him and rather embarrassed Junior who had to drag me away!!  I did want to swap Junior for him but he wouldn't co-operate  ;D
I did mention that he would look great at our exhibition but the assistant didn't take the hint  :(

The other construction worker is a newer P&M guy, exactly the same size as Ian :)

No, I got it from ebay.co.uk. They were both BIN £35 + £10 P+P. The seller contacted me two days ago that his construction worker was relisted as the first buer failed to give a postage address. Which was lucky because I didn't know he had this one as well and he was snapped up as well although I have had to pay two lots of postage.

No it doesn't, but I think the helmet can be split in half from fixings inside :-\

to tell you damo the two small ones look closer to a typical playmobil figure !!!!!! the big one if you see it without a man beside or a klicky you can tell that it's not a common klicky ,the other two  if you see them alone you could say that they are normal klickys what do you think?

From what I have experienced, Playmobil loans them to the stores and then they have to give them back if they close or change their displays etc. But obviously that doesn't aways happen! :P

I think they would too, although our camera has made Bob (the biggest one) look a bit elongated so that is not in his favour :-\

HI

So looks like playmobil is out of the "Oil Shortage Problem" I myself would rather collect playmobil in the Micro size and then I might actually have enough room for the collection.

Great addition to your collection  and thanks for sharing the pictures
