Yes, it is Playmobil. :)

It comes from the Knights Market Stand #7855 which was available through the DS catalogue.

I ordered some a while back from the DS and I'm sure it was less than £1.00 for all the parts.

No it was only in that set, but there is a white and gold version of the spinning wheel in set 4338.

I think the brown one is more suitable for Victorian or medieval settings.

7855 is still available through the UK Playmobil website.

The other set (4338) is much newer and hasn't been released here yet, but it is available in Germany.

Both spinning wheels should be obtainable through the German DS dept. :)
