Dear all,
I am from Hong Kong and have been playing with Playmobil since young. My major focus is collecting the specials or figures from different sets, and have been hunting the klickies from different countries in Asia. Yet due to the de facto monopoly here in HK, the price of the sets are very high comparing to those in both UK and US. People who have seen me in other forums might find I have ranted too much :P I am trying to avoid that. But I am lucky enough to meet a lot of helpful collectors, and hope I can share my enthusiasm to playmobil with you all here~~!!! :love:
Cheers,
Heronimus

325 members in total. :)
If you view the member list ordered by highest post count to lowest, you will get a better idea of how many are actively posting.

It's not totally accurate because some of the high posters haven't been around for a little while. ;)

Welcome Heronimus from Greece!
By the way your nickname is Greece, how come?
-
Thanks all, it is very nice to meet you all here :wave: We dont have asian here on the forum? I think people from Japan like to collect playmobil. They have the only official playmobil store called playmoland in Tokyo, much like the funpark they have a Wall of addons.
To Warrior of Toys,
I collect klickies from the historical theme, from knights to pirates. But still I would also get the klickies from other theme that look nice 8-) I also like the cool parts from playmobil, like the weapons, plants, virtually anything that looks cool. I would love to customize them, yet limited to using the original parts from playmobil. I guess I have a thing with the plastic from playmobil....they are just unique.
To Ali Baba and Grangel
I cant remember, but I read a book when I was very young and there was Heronimus in it. I think the name sounds so much like Hercules or Alexander. Does it mean something to you guys in Europe?
-
Welcome from Northern California! :wave:
You are not the only asian. I am asian, but American.

Yes...I managed to take a klicky apart using the spanish method. The neck is still damaged but this is just waaaaaay better than seeing a wounded knee 8}

A warm welcome from the Netherlands Heronimus.
On taking Klickies apart: The Hans-on Method is the way to go IMO, it's so quick and easy compared to the other methods that I really don't see me using anything else.

That name (and variants of it) you see quite often here. Some famous Hieronymusses come from these parts. Hieronymus Bosch? Nice paintings.

I bet you are, you never know how great it is living in EU and get the new playmobil before we do.
It is like jumping up and down in a moving train, getting them is normal :lol:
Some people in Hong Kong bring in newer sets from EU, selling at 200% of the SRP on auction sites 8}
