Looking at the Large Klickies on the link that Sylvia posted on 'My new friend Bob' I noticed this large klicky.

My eldest son is deaf but loves his ipod which he listens to by using a neck loop and his hearing aid on T setting. This klicky reminded me of him and it would be great to get a smaller version.
Do you think this was just a custom for the display or is there a small 'ipod' available - or can anyone suggest parts to use to make one?

Here he is, Elaine :)
30 10 0300 - Boy, blue/green clothes, zigzag on shirt (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-10-0300)
Perhaps an ipod can be created from a bank note, as these are of good scale and can be held :)

Jochen once did a nice custom iPod:

The thing round the figure's neck is actually a simple 35mm(?) camera, Elaine.
A cell phone is a possible base for an ipod:

this topic makes me think why playmobil hasn't made any records record players cd's cassetes etc...??

Yes, they really should make more music-related things. I don't think they ever have.
(By the way, Elaine, my husband's parents are both Deaf, and I thought seriously about becoming an interpreter. I have many friends who are Deaf or who work as interpreters.)

There is a Hi-Fi stereo system in sets 3230 and 3966, and several different versions of portable radio/CD players, such as in sets 4858 (orange front), 3011 and many others (red), 4405 and 4863 (blue). Was that the sort of thing you wanted?

You're right, Martin. Come to think of it, I HAVE the red portable radio. I had forgotten about it. I use it with my skate park.
