Sweet- Celebrating father's day early, because the wife works tomorrow afternoon, and not only did I get popover's and bacon for breakfast, but also a new charcoal grill and dragon tower 4836!! It really is a nice set- the blue light is great, with the flickering effect it looks enough like fire to "burn" my 2 1/2 year old- she was very excited to help mom pick out a "daddy toy", and helped me put it together- As we played with it, I was again amazed by the durability of playmobil, easily withstanding the destructive nature of a two year old...

Got very nice gifts for fathersday (my first fathersday, actually).
No playmobil I'm afraid. All the more reason to get me some this week. I had been holding back, pending fathersday, anyway.
Edit: Ooops, happy fathersday everyone!

What is a typical Greek breakfast? I dated a Greek-American girl for many years, but I don't remember any greek breakfast foods- just a lot of lamb & feta. Yums. Okay, this topic is getting moved... How 'bout "Cross Cultural Breakfast Foods"?
-
I always had gyros for breakfast when I was in Greece. Hmmm, the good old days.

I know gyros is not a typical Greek breakfast. But we were 2 days in Samos, so me and my friends decided to have gyros for breakfast. Just for the fun of it.
My normal breakfast is bread and cheese and coffee.
I had liver soup for breakfast in Pnom Pen once. Not intentionally. The menu was rather difficult to read.
For fathers day (back to the subject) I had a very good croissant with real farmers butter and home made jam. And coffee.
